Great Monitor
Pros:PIP mode supported.HDMI 2.0 - good when used with HDCP. Two ports.HDCP 2.2 - works with my 4k BluRay player & Xbox 1S.HDR10 - great looking video.Size - 32". Good size, not too big.4K - looks great, even with old games. Scales and adjusts nicely to old resolutions.Freesync on both HDMI & DisplayPort.VESA Mounting. I installed it Monitor Stand.Sound output to external speakers.Price is great, compared to G-Sync monitors!Cons:1. ViewSplit software free download at their web site:a. The free ViewSplit software from ViewSonic is not compatible with Windows recommended Scaling. If it is run at 100% scaling at normal resolution (3840x2160), all is good. IF you "Scale" the screen, it does not function properly (125% increase or larger). Windows 10 default/recommended scale is 150%. Change it to 100% if you want to use ViewSplit.b. While Viewsplit is good, it is missing a "key" setting - 3 full vertical windows side by side.2. Five (5) watt speakers sound tinny.Jan 15, 2019 - Nvidia released driver version 417.71, which makes G-Sync compatible with freesync monitors using Display Port (only).

Pristine picture quality, cables that come with don’t support hdr
I recently got this monitor because my 4K dell monitor had a few dead pixels. I decided I would go for a huge upgrade, and wanted a good 4K hdr monitor. So I picked this up. The picture quality is flawless, and simply amazing, after some tinkering with the monitor. But I have noticed one or two dead pixels, that constantly display white, but with my 14/20 vision, it’s nearly impossible for me to notice. And the cords that came with the monitor did NOT support hdr, and that took me several days of troubleshooting to figure out. But once I got the right cable for hdr, my system immediately recognized the monitor as hdr. It’s great for gaming if you have an AMD computer setup, or more specifically an amd gpu, because of its free sync. It’s very bright, and its darks are otherworldly, but not completely black, as they are not oled. It is a great monitor, and if you want this for a great movie performance, or for gaming, I think it’s worth the buy!

An honest re-review of the 4K version
Last month (December 2018), I decided to spend some money on myself. Those with kids can understand that feeling or even need. I upgraded my video game systems to a PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, I also upgraded the video card in my PC to be able to handle 4K. I bought this monitor to use with the PS4 Pro, Xbox One X and PC. I originally posted a 5 star review after using it for just one night (Christmas Eve). I did put in my review that I would be back to add to the review as I used it but was going out of town for 2 weeks. I was really impressed with the picture quality. It looked especially good on the Xbox One X games that use HDR. But I hadn't used it that much.Once back from the holiday visits to family, I was able to use the monitor also with my PC and to see how well my initial very positive reaction to it was holding up. I have to add this to make what I'm going to say make more sense. I had been using a Samsung 32" Smart Television, it was one of the higher end ones with the upgraded speakers, 3 HDMI ports, 1080p max, so it wasn't a pushover. Once I got settled in with this Viewsonic, I started wondering why I kept leaning forward to change the settings. I kept looking for a remote control. Then, as if a higher power, computer deity was looking down, my PC's speakers (Harmon Kardon Soundsticks) stopped working. That's not a surprise as they were my third set in 5 years. I switched the sound from the speakers to this monitor. The sound this monitor produces might be the worst I've ever heard. I was playing Madden 19, the crowd sounded like they were inside a garbage can, two blocks from my house. It was like a version of white noise. I turned the master volume on the monitor up to 100 but still could only understand about half of what the announcers said. I started messing with the settings thinking there had to be a way to make the speakers sound better but there wasn't. This also reminded me of how nice a remote would be with this monitor. When you change the settings, the buttons are little thumb buttons on the back left side of the monitor. Meaning, you can't see which one you're pushing. They sort of "fixed" that by having the buttons show up on your screen but there's six of them. If you're aiming for one, you pretty much have to let your finger slide down them until you get to the 3rd or 4th one that you need to press. It could close before you get it done. And each menu has up to 3 levels. Meaning, you press the "enter/okay" button on what you're looking for and it opens a new menu. The six buttons change from up/down to left/right depending on which menu you're in.You're welcome to look over my 14 years of reviews here at Amazon and see how easily I'm annoyed by something simple being made complex. Within a week, I hated this monitor. Sure, the picture quality is really great but I didn't like anything else about it. It even has a power block that you have to plug in to your outlet. And don't forget the sound/speakers. Maybe I was expecting too much out of it since I did have a PC, Xbox One X and PS4 Pro hooked up to it but my 32" Samsung television has no problem handling all 3.That adds one more annoyance. I'm sure someone will tell me to buy a HDMI splitter with remote but I expect a product this expensive to not need an add-on to be easy to use. You also have to go through those menus just to switch from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2 to Display Port. Go ahead, tap the wrong button and it will mess your settings up and you have to do this every time you want to switch to say the Xbox One X instead of the PC. I really believe a remote would make a ton of difference in this monitor and better speakers would help too. I realized it didn't have a remote when I first started to switch between the PC and Xbox One X. My wife thought it was hilarious. I looked at the screen and said, "I have no idea how you change the input." Looked in the box, questioned my puppy about eating it then just accepted there's no remote. I sit about 30 inches away from the monitor, meaning, I'm not sitting right up at the desk it sits on. So, to change the settings/inputs, I have to get up and reach behind the monitor. Call that lazy if you will but I'm around 40 and work 8-12 hours a day. Meaning, maybe a kid, a teenager who likes changing settings and seeing the results, would be perfectly fine with this monitor. But I can't say I am. Luckily, I kept my Samsung television and just hooked it back up for the meantime. It's not capable of the picture quality of this monitor but it does everything else better and much easier. Not to mention, it was only half the price of this monitor. I can't justify the price for what I would call a 25% improvement in picture quality with a complete drop-off in functionality.Last, I will recommend this monitor, as long as you're not bothered by the parts that annoyed me. It's very well made, the stand is excellent, very easy to attach, the monitor can be raised and lowered on the stand, tilted, rotated. As said the picture quality is excellent too. Overall, it's why I gave it 4 stars. It's just not for me. I don't think the features ratings show on reviews, so here's what I gave this monitor. A 5 star out of 5 on picture quality. A 3 star out of 5 for gaming, others will also mention its response rate not being that great in fast-paced video games. A 2 out of 5 for value for money. I explained that above when talking about my Samsung television doing everything better for half the price.

Learning Curve but Worth it!
I was looking for a 4K monitor for a very long time. One that was affordable, offered good specs and allowed me to connect both my consoles and PC to it. I was able to find all of these features and more with this monitor. I use it regularly for productivity (game development in Unity, school work and occasional browsing) along with leisure (playing Xbox One X, and PlayStation 4 Pro). Having the option of plugging in ALL THREE of my most used devices is amazing.I must have been lucky because I have zero dead pixels in my screen. I also have no issues with flickering, or glare. My only recommendation is to be patient with the menu. It's a bit of a learning curve to switch between inputs manually, and editing settings. However, once you have it like you have it, it's absolutely perfect.I would have liked Viewsonic to implement just a "source" button for easy input management since that's my only issue. However, the inputs will continuously cycle until it finds an active one and will fall asleep if none are active to conserve power.Highly recommended. I expect to purchase a second one for dual monitors in the future.I will update this if I run into any issues but considering it's been over two months, I'm very confident there will be no buyers remorse with this purchase. Go for it! Why are you still reading this?

Early review -updated
Just received it, looks and works great, did not test all features yet but only dispappointment is Pivot feature is only for installation and packaging not really for ergo or when it is on desk and base is attached. Monitor edge will hit the desk as stand is not high enough. Will update review later as got it for many features such as PiP and BLue light filter, gaming......etcSetup reolution to max, played with my liitle humple Radeaon X470, The witcher 3 , Tomb Raider, couple of graphic demanding games. all ran smooth on hi res and lags, no stiter, monitor seems improved the performnance of the Graphic cards.Played 4k videos, ran smooth only with RealPlayer, no other decoder did it, the rest lagged and delayed.I give it 5 star minus 10% just for the Pivot I mentioned up already. If Pivot was functional for ergo, I would give it full 5 stars. thanks Viewsonic.

Great performance for the price
For this a bargain of £260. It does not come with a uk 3 pin plug, but these are easy to replace. Great size, sharp, punchy colours, excellent stand for adjustment. Hdr works well on consoles via hdmi.

Top Gaming Monitor

240hz a buen precio.
Buenos colores para ser TN. Muy contento con los 240hz pero mala suerte. Como se puede ver en la foto tiene un backlight bleed notable. He solicitado descambiarlo por otro. Espero tener mejor suerte.
