It does its job, and well. Heating up takes awhile, but that's actually good. If I'm timing my life around a clothes steamer and every second counts, then I need more excitement than what laundry can provide me.The steamer is comfortable to hold, easy to use, blasts the steam out broadly, and has a long cord. If there were one thing I'd like differently: a larger water tank. I get maybe three shirts steam-ironed, and I have to refill the receptacle. A minor concern. I haven’t had this very long at all, but I really like this! I have always used a stand alone steamer, but when the cord started to get really hot, I got rid of it and really like this one. It is very easy to operate and gets quite hot with the high wattage. I’ve steamed several t-shirts and heavy black out curtains that were thick! Although the curtains took longer (and I had to fill the tank twice because 1 panel alone took almost 1 tank), it was worth it. It was much easier than having to iron them as I just hung the curtains and steamed them on the rod! Just keep it vertical as it’s not made to use horizontally. The light indicator works perfectly and though it’s a little noisy to operate, its easy to operate and it’s not noisy enough to scare my cat (so that gives you some idea of the volume). The water tank is a good size for a handheld steamer, too. I highly recommend this product!
