Pretty easy to use. They seem like they will last a while. Probably forever since I do not need to use them often. These make waist bands a breeze, no more fiddling with a paper clip all the way around a waist bands. I never knew I needed these in my collection. I just wish they had some skinnier ones for some smaller casings.

There are several different kinds of bodkins in the set. There are also threading needles, each for their different purposes. The long latch tool can be for tube turning. And the right side bodkins are for cord threading. These are basic sewing tools and they all work as intended.

The elastic waistline of my running shorts always seems to die prematurely. There’s plenty of life left in the fabric, but the elastic is shot. This threader set allows me to easily thread several strands of elastic shock cord in place of the drawstring and put the “snap” back into my waistline.

I enjoy working on and using sergers, which are notoriously difficult to thread. I have used various threaders to route the four threads around the guides of the machine and through the upper and lower looper. So I purchased the product without going through the provided dimensioned photos. Well, my bad and I felt like I had shrunk to the size of Tinker Bell when I hefted the items. Dainty they are not.The tweezers are repurposed cotter pins. No clue what you would use them for. I can use the wired graspers with the ring on one end for routing the stitching chain end back through the stitch web when using the serger. The other components are likely used when working on a knitted sweater to secure the wool once completed.Everything appears robust for the use described in the description. But be careful about implying use based on the title (or you will be writing a review similar to mine).

There are so many things with drawstrings now, from waistbands to hoodies, that often come free in the wash. These make quick work of rethreading them. I especially like the really long plastic one with a rigid section and a flexible section, but all of them have their uses. Choose your weapon and let no string go unthreaded!

This is a great set but I mainly got it for the plastic threader so I could put the drawstring back in my jogging pants and for the future,So the long plastic threader worked perfectly and it only took like 2 minutes for it to thread my drawstring back into my pants it was so easy and I know I've sat there and did it by hand it took a hour or more to put the drawstring back in by hand so this thing is a game changer and you get 8 pieces that all help with threading and there all different sizes for different projects.This is always a good thing to have on hand for the day you need it and I always need it my washer eats my string and pulls them right out so yeah I definitely recommend this set.
