Flavor, sustained warm in a unique vessel!
I wanted to let people know that this double walled glass tea or coffee cup is outstanding! Not only does it keep your drink warm it's easy to drink out of, because of the thin edge at the top! You can actually get your face steamed while your drinking! It's really lovely! I almost didn't buy it because of the lack of a handle, but I find that right now in the winter months it gets just warm enough to keep your hands comfortable while drinking! You'll enjoy that, as you get older! Even after it's been sitting in the cup for like15 minutes or so, it's still hot enough to enjoy the drink! The packaging, as well was outstanding and arrived in perfect condition! Don't hesitate to get the set of two yourself and enjoy all the benefits this beautifully design container, that delivers not only flavor, but sustained warmth, in it's uniquely original style vessel!

Perfection for Nespresso Vertuo & For Gifts
UPDATE: I adore these so much that I have taken to gifting them to coffee lovers in my personal and business life. The packaging, in addition to the product itself, creates a fabulous experience that will be remembered and appreciated. >>> I have been using double-walled glass tumblers for decades... since the first Bodium glass. I love the visual and the lack of condensation in cold beverages, which does not make my Reynauds Syndrome act up. I've used many Bodium glasses (thankfully made more durable over the years), Viva (Libbey Glass' version... I'm in Toledo, OH, with an outlet), Teavanna/Bodium tea cups, Zwilling cup, and any double-walled glass without a handle sold at home goods. I have shot glasses, capp glasses, tall skinny tumblers, travel mugs, the traditional Bodium shape, Picadilly shape from Williams Sonoma, and a short, wide flat bottom with straight sides. I buy them on sale and have a couple of dozen in the basement in storage because they all will break. I'm fanatical about double-wall glasses. These Ovalware tumblers are fabulous and the best I have sipped from. The thin single-layer flared rim makes a big difference. And it might have been hype, but I swear my coffee tasted better (which would be from the olfactory experience). I know for sure that my coffee stayed warmer longer than any other 2x-walled glass I have ever used. But the bit of perfection is that they are precisely right for the considerable amount of centrifuged crema with the Nespresso Vertuo—like right at the top of the rim. And as the crema deflates, somehow, the 7.5 oz of coffee does not look sparse in the large glass. I have two. I need more. My Nespresso Virtuo is upstairs in my bedroom. I also have one set up in my mom's guest room. The best way to start my day is to get up in the morning and have a cup of coffee in a gorgeous glass to sit in my overstuffed chair and sip and breathe. These glasses made it even better.

Unique design
I have other double walled glasses, I love each of them. The Ovalware Tasting Glasses are different and special. The most appreciated feature is the rim. I love the way the rim feels on my lips and fits the corners of my mouth. The double walling is ended near the top so the rim is a single, smoothed and flared layer of delicate, but durable borosilicate glass. The lower circumference is a whopping 11 inches which feels a little awkward at first, but the graduated contour makes them easily grippable. The Ovalware folks are wise to call them Tasting Glasses because using them encourages you to sip your beverage to savor its flavor since the insulation prolongs the temperature. I've used them with hot chocolate as well as beer with great satisfaction. The packaging was perfect for protection and enhanced the experience of receiving them. It would be a shame to reserve them for guests, so I will be replacing some of my everyday glasses with the Ovalware Tasting Glasses - I deserve them. However, they will be off limits to my eight-year-old grandson when he visits. Ovalware offers a warranty which I've registered for, so I'll be putting them through the paces. I have not been compensated in any way for this review.

These are amazing
These are exactly what I was hoping they would be and then some! They are absolutely beautiful! They are now my beer glass at night-and my coffee cup in the morning - getting two is such a bonus. The whole bent lip thing, besides looking good, has a wonderful function of allowing you full flavor of the coffee because it disperses flavor more widely in your mout; but also, and the ladies will know what I am talking about (if they are older) not encouraging lip wrinkles! You don't need to scrunch your lips up to the same degree to drink from this cup. That was a complete bonus and I am very very happy with them. They are my go to now every day, twice a day at least, hot and iced coffee, iced tea, smoothies, everything. Very easy to clean. My son-in-law is eyeing them, he may be getting them for Christmas, his own set of course!

Small manufacturing defect may be dealbreaker
You don’t need a review to know these are hardly cheap. But after a few cups of coffee here’s what you should know: Don’t expect to put 12oz of anything in them. 8-10 is more like it if you don’t want to spill anything. So I’ll have to use a bit less water in my small French press. No big deal. I’ve become used to putting my coffee in a vacuum bottle so the last sips aren’t cold. These are good enough to avoid the problem. And drinking from the slender tapered glass lip is a real joy. I’d liken it to the difference if you drank wine from a thermos versus a proper wine glass. It’s a part of the perfect cup of coffee. The glass is thin. But I figure with careful handling they should be fine. I don’t expect them to survive a drop. You wouldn’t expect a well made wine glass to either. So their fragility is not unexpected. What is unexpected is, while enjoying a cup, I noticed what appears to be a pit (dent, chip) in the bottom of the cup. It almost appeared to be a vent hole. But if it was anything getting in it would make the cups impossible to keep clean and clear. And it’s deep enough that if you poked it with a pin, it would easily break through. Was one of my cups defective? Sadly, when I checked the other, it had the exact same defect in the exact same place. I’m wondering if this is a problem that will get worse. Or if maybe a tiny drop of epoxy will keep it safe. Or if this should exist in glass cups that cost more than $10 each. I have 30 days to find out while they still can be returned. However, I otherwise quite like these cups, so hope this can be resolved, or is not something I need to worry about.
