I put together a lot of furniture that requires assembly because it saves money, but sometimes it can be really frustrating. Not this table, though! It was very easy to put together and I am in love with it. You don't have to install the rails that slide the two main sections apart to fit the extension. It's already in there, you just have to bolt the legs on and two metal support strips and you're done! It took me 30 minutes. If you are a speedy, young person, it might take you even less time. The black finish arrived flawless. There were no knicks, scratches, or dents, to my surprise. It was very thoughtfully packaged with actual strips of particle board protecting the ends from damage. One board was crushed on the end so it did its job protecting the contents. I'd recommend this table to a friend for sure. Just be sure to measure your space and pay attention to the dimensions so you'll know exactly how this table will fit into your space. You see so many people in reviews saying they thought it would be bigger or smaller but that's user error. The dimensions on this are correct.The legs and hardware are all made of metal. The top sections are wood with some type of finish. I would be nervous to sit a cold glass of water on the surface for fear of puckering and warping, so if you get this table it's probably a good idea to get some tablecloths to protect it just in case. You can't beat this table for the price! I got the chairs in the images from Amazon too, but different seller. Also excellent. The super messy image is the table fully extended. The neater images are the table without the extension put in. With the extension in, it will comfortably seat 6 people.

Table had damage on the side already when we opened the box. It has styrofoam around it so I’m guessing we got sent a defective one. Not buying anything from here again.

Wanted to downsize to declutter and came across this table. Looks like the pictures! All you have to do is attach the legs and storage support bars for storing the extender piece. I’m 8 months pregnant and put the table together myself. Quite sturdy and the tracks to pull the table apart run smoothly. I also like that it came with rubber corner protectors, good to have since we’ll have a baby in the house now.

The table was easy to put up as well as easy instructions to read. This table is very beautiful and it does extend which help when you have more people. I love this table. the sturdiness is worth it as well as its tall but perfect for good holiday dinners and gatherings.

This table is easy to extend. I assembled it all by myself. It slides smoothly in and out when needs to be extended. It looks modern and slick.

We loved the table, didn't expect it to be damaged. What can we do?

Very nice table. Good size plus extendable. Look good for everyday or special occasions.

Awful, tabletop came with a corner broke off. Return service terrible.
