I also, did not use it for it's intended purposes. This is perfect to hold my 5ml ink sample vials! I've been looking for something sturdy and this was it. Not only economical, but i love that it has a lid and comes in the smoky clear color. I am going to decorate it with stickers. I'm sure it's also great for ammo though.

I bought this as a gift for my brother. He loved it. He is an avid duck hunter and he uses this every season. Great quality. He puts his shot gun shells in it. It has an easy to open closure. You could use this for many other things.

I am not using this shotshell box for ammo. Instead, I l use it to organize fountain pen ink samples. The standard size vial that the ink samples come in is a perfect fit in the case. Not only are my sample kept upright and don't knock about, but the case has a lid to keep the dust off. The 25 slots hold my entire collection. The color of the case is more suitable for sportmen, of course, but for function, I give it top marks.

Love these MTM shotgun shell boxes. Great quality and fit and hold the shells nicely. Works for 12 and 20 gauge shells.

Not its intended purpose, but it's excellent for storing 5ml fountain pen ink sample tubes. They're just the right size & it keeps them safe. Plus, if for some reason one of the tubes leaks, this keeps it nicely contained.

Yes it's plastic box to hold shotgun shells just the same as that paper box you bought them in. These days a person will only be reloading slug and buckshot rounds and needs to identify such in storage. We tend to dispose of the original box in case of confusion.
