Acer Desktop Great Value & Performance!
Upgraded from a 2013 clunker to this Acer desktop and wow, what a difference! It’s like stepping out of a go-kart into a sports car. Speed is fantastic, user experience is a breeze, and everything just works smoothly. Highly recommend for anyone needing a solid, modern upgrade!

Powerhouse PC Gets the Job Done!
What a super PC! I was pleasantly surprised and I am glad that I made the purchase. This PC is used for working from home and I needed a computer that would be able to keep up with the software programs being used for work, and this PC was up to the challenge. I can also play games if I choose to, which is a bonus. The only issue was that the power cord that was included with the PC was flimsy and would not stay connected in the pack of the PC. Luckily, I keep cables and cords just in case and I was able to swap out the cable for one that I owned. The other issue was when I contacted someone for assistance in an attempt to have them send me a better cord, I was told that they did not have the capability to replace the cord. Outside of those two situations, I was more than satisfied with this PC purchase and I would purchase another Acer.

Very good home office computer
The only reason I am not giving this PC 5 stars is because of the lack of a hard copy of the user manual included in the package. Otherwise it is a good computer, suitable for home office use but obviously not for gaming. Had it not been for the obviously intact Acer original taping on the box, I may have thought it was a renewed item. Setup was very straightforward and there doesn't seem to be any bloatware at all except for the McAfee trial (which was easy to ignore). The full-sized keyboard and somewhat small mouse both have positive feels and not a lot of extra keys or wheels. The upgrade capacity of the unit is bare minimum, with only two PCI slots and space for two extra hard drives, but that is not a big deal for me because I have most of my files stored on network attached drives. I would recommend this PC to anyone who doesn't need a lot of speed or super graphics for gaming and such. UPDATE: There are two things I find objectionable about this PC. First is the inadequacy of the user documentation. The online user manual provided is a generic "get acquainted with your pc" document with no specific details on the particular model itself. There is no guidance available on how to upgrade any of the internal components, nor any mention of the existence of such documentation. Fortunately there are a few YouTube videos of the processes available to give enough information to do what I intended to do. Second, the case itself has provisions for two additional 2.5" SATA drives but only one additional power cable connection is provided which connects to one of two 6-pin power sockets on the motherboard. I had to order an additional cable for the second of two drives I purchased to use with this machine. Now that all of the upgrades have been taken care of, the PC now sits quietly in place and performs quite well enough for its intended purposes.

My first Acer.
I Love this Acer computer and Shipped through Amazon. I needed something Traditional Desktop with Windows 11. Everything works. The only flaw is it has the door to make it looks like it had a DVD installed but it does not. I still need to add that myself. The Inside has space for 2 Traditional Hard drives. Its fast boot and works everything from movies to photoshop to other programs. This is a budget system you upgrade later when the tech shrinks the hard drive even more this could be a killer music machine.

Great for the everyday user from business to mild gaming
I researched a long time before buying a new computer and glad I waited for this one to be on sale. It arrived in good condition and was relatively easy to transfer files to with PC Mover software. This Acer is FAST and boots quickly, easily manages every task I have thrown at it, from daily business use to mild gaming. The Wi-Fi is excellent and connects to my gigabit fiber with speeds of 866 mbs consistently. Unlike past computers, the fan cycles as needed rather than running all the time. I thought this was a problem but checking temperatures of the CPU and other components, it works as intended. And this is really quiet, especially since it's small form factor allowed me to place it on my desk rather than on the floor. That's a plus also in accessing the ports on the front; if you plan to place it on the floor, it can be difficult to access the ports due to the shape of the case. I have had an Acer computer for over 10 years and it performed flawlessly, so I trust the brand. In fact, I wouldn't have upgraded but for the old one would not run Windows 11, and could not be upgraded. I suppose 10 years or more on a computer is a long life considering the advances in technology. Very pleased with this purchase.

Anti-Consumer
Warning: Uses an anti-consumer proprietary connectors. This PC is made to be non-repairable and non-upgradable. You cannot add any modern graphics card to this computer. Unless you're only intending to give this computer to your grandparents to check their email, this computer is going to be in a landfill in a few years. It cannot be serviced nor upgraded by normal means. There are many anti-consumer tricks here, and I'm so sad that reviewers aren't pointing them out. For instance, the motherboard of this computer is made to a nonstandard size so it won't fit in most cases. This includes that the front panel I/O is built onto the motherboard. If you don't know what that means, imagine that you want to move into a new house. But you find out the company that makes the kitchen appliances like the fridge has connected big brackets from the fridge all the way to your front and back doors. So nobody can ever fix the fridge if there's a problem. But they also can't ever fix the doors either. One company controls the whole thing, end to end, and they get to dictate terms to you. I could go on. Bad deals: Acer proprietary motherboard connector means you cannot connect any normal power supply to this computer. If you ever have a problem, you're locked into Acer's service department for life. For tech people, it's a nonstandard 6-pin connector, specifically made so you cannot swap in any normal power supply, even one from Dell or HP, even if the power supply itself is the exact same part. Even if you connect a normal power supply, the fans would spin forever and the power supply will draw energy until you unplug it. 300W power supply is woefully underpowered. You cannot upgrade this computer with normal parts like a graphics card. The computer is going to be a paperweight in a few years, because it cannot be upgraded. Non-standard parts. The motherboard is intentionally constructed so you can't move it to a new computer if there is a problem. If your case gets banged up, or you have some other problem with your hardware, Acer is going to try to force you to use their service plans, and probably force you to buy a new computer since they're going to stop making all these parts as soon as they develop a new model. Lack of power, lack of connectors, and lack of space all mean it's basically impossible to connect any modern graphics card to this computer. Without a graphics card, you're going to struggle just playing basic games like Fortnite. The computer basically has one hand tied behind its back, so even though the included parts are strong, they'll never work like they should for any graphics-intensive process (gaming, 3d modeling, and so on). Overall: This computer is basically built for elderly people, schools, and other settings where the most the computer is going to be asked to do in its lifetime is browse the internet or write some documents. You are supposed to throw it away the moment it has problems, and buy a whole new one. For a lot of computer users like me, that's not okay. I want to be able to fix my computer if something goes wrong, and I need to be able to upgrade my computer with basic parts like a graphics card. This computer is incapable of that. I cannot recommend it whatsoever. The only people who should buy this are people looking to buy 300 cheap workstations for a school, and they probably want the lack of upgrade options so people won't try to steal them and resell them.

Good computer.
Good computer so far. I haven't had it long, but it works good for my Bambu labs printing and light modeling.
