I got this digital oral thermometer to help take temperature for my elderly mom. I like the fact that it gives you a digital readout and very easy to use for her or me. When I am not around, she can take her temperature and easily read it. Very comfortable to use and sits well in your mouth.

This Thermometer was so easy to use. Just put it under your tongue for a few seconds and you get an accurate reading!

The first reading is always the highest, then it just changed wildly for any subsequent readings. Half the times we used this thermometer, output was that our infant had a fever. It took me 11 months to realize this thing was completely off and I can't even begin to tell you how much infant Tylenol I've unnecessarily given my perfectly healthy child all because this crap thermometer told me she was running a 101 fever. This is wrong and irresponsible of the manufacturer. Do not buy.

We just got through battling the flu in our house, and discovered on day 2 that our old thermometer wasn't working. I scrambled to find one, and after some fevered (literally) searching these were ordered. They do work good. I ordered the two pack, and they both gave the same temperature reading. The construction is good, no issues at all. The colored LED light is a nice visual indicator and turns red when you have a fever. They are a good size for the average hand to use and are comfortable in the mouth. Definitely worth the money.

Excelente alternativa ao dispendioso termômetro da Vicks. Tão bom quanto, por uma fração do preço. Display enorme, super visível. E ainda que momentânea, a retroiluminação em três cores (verde, amarela ou vermelha, conforme a febre) ajuda muito. Atenção apenas para as faixas de temperatura, ligeiramente diferentes das do Vicks: verde (normal) para 36,0 a 37,1°C; amarelo (febrícula) para 37,2 a 37,4°C; e vermelho (febre) para 37,5 a 42,9°C. Fora dessas três faixas, não acende a retroiluminação, nem mesmo momentaneamente. Só para situar, as faixas do Vicks são: 35,8 a 37,4°C para verde (normal); 37,5 a 38,5°C para amarelo (febre); e 38,6 a 43,0°C para vermelho (febre alta). Pessoalmente, considero mais lógicas as faixas deste QT001. Recentemente, tive pneumonia e minha febre oscilava entre 37,5 e 38,1°C. O Vicks teria mostrado apenas amarelo, sendo que meu quadro era sério (passei três dias hospitalizado)! Nessa faixa, o QT001 já mostra vermelho, e ainda soa um alarme! Um bônus: ele retém na memória a última leitura, exibindo-a momentaneamente logo após ligar o dispositivo.
