Worked a treat
Cyanobacteria are so irritating. I followed the instructions and my tank is now clear and it hasn't returned. I'd definitely recommend this product if you have this problem. I have a 110L tank and this was more thelan enough. I'd probably have enough for a second or even third full treatment. There is a cap for easy measuring so it was easy to use. My fish all look really healthy in their clean water now. Great value for money.

Worked in my case
I was spot treating some cyano with 3% Hydrogen peroxide previously which seems to slow it down but not remove it. So after manually removing as much as possible I started treating with Blue Exit, and the spreading of the cyano stopped within 3-4 days, I continued to treat for up to 10 days and it cleared it up completely.I started adding fertilizer and it flared up again! So my advice would be to continue using beyond the 5 days, and closely monitor. I'm now starting another phase of treatnment and its stopped spreading but will continue treating until its gone again. It does work, cyanobacteria is a pain in most cases so manually removing as much as possible before treating helped me clear it the first time! Hopefully it will be successful for the second time as well!!p.s. my fish - Tanganyikan cichlids didn't show any effects to the treatment and were quit happy/spawning etc..

Do Not Use. Fish Kiler
Please do not use this in a tropical tank. I've put 3 treatments in, under direct instructions, and it's isn't cleaning the algae at all. However, so far it's killed one of my cichlids and one is dying and has developed a white and bulging eyeUpdate:, all of my fish have now died as a result of this product and the algae has totally taken over my tank

Amazing product
My 80 litre tank has suffered cynobacteria for years. I tried everything to rid the tank of it. Blue Exit worked within 10 days and has been completely free for several months. Aquarium cleaning and regular water change is so easy now. Blue Exit is well worth the cost. My fish are happier too.

Mixed results
I had a severe blue green algae attack several years ago which I largely cured though ever since I have had a very minor persistent problem. I have never managed to totally erradicate it and still see it around filter outlet, on electric wires and on older plant leaves which I have to remove every couple of weeks. This is time consuming so I thought I would try this to see if it would improve what is only a minor issue.Well, for the first few days when I added the product on a daily basis there was a definate improvement. I even started to see lighter brown patches on my bogwood, suggesting that I had BGA there too and hadn't even realised! However, once the the dosage was completed, the instructions are to then leave it with no water changes for 10 days, which I did. During that time there was no further improvement. The instructions at this point are vague as they say that you can continue the doseage for 'a few more days' even up to 'double the dose'. Does this mean you can continue putting in twice the amount each day for an indeterminate number of days or does it more likely mean that you can continue putting in the same amount for up to another 5 days? I tried the latter. There was no further improvement and since I resumed normal water changes the BGA is certainly worse than it was before. It began growing on the new plant leaves not just the old ones, so most of my plants have now been killed or have had to be removed. During this period I did add a weekly dose as a preventative, as stated in the instructions. So, the fact that it worked initially suggests that it might help in the case of a severe attack of BGA, but for my milder issue it ultimately seems to have weakened my plants and allowed the BGA to take hold, making the situation worse. Accordingly I would say, use this only if you have to and all else has failed but don't use as a preventative or where you only have a minor issue.

Works! Just make sure…
Just make sure you read the reviews! The instructions on the bottle aren’t detailed. I read everyone’s reviews and made sure I didn’t make the same mistakes. I have a 45litre tank and my case was quite bad. I dosed every day for two weeks, lights off for the whole two weeks, i helped by removing bits of algae every day myself. Didn’t do any water changes. This is where I'm at now. I’m going to water change today but I’ve notice a brand new batch of baby shrimp so I’m worry to change the water incase they get sucked up haha I’m going to dose once a week now as a preventative but all the algae is gone the tank is looking super clean! So it works just be thorough!
