This is my second order of this product. It's just OK, I am reducing one star because the package contains far too many tiny pieces of coal instead of reasonably big ones. However, the product in my second order is slightly better than the earlier one

The charcoal lights up quick and burns longer than regular coconut shell briquettes. The ash also doesn’t fly out and fall on the food.

This is the worst one can imagine. The coal is worthless as it is not catching the fire only. Had been trying to burn it for 2 hours but it didn’t burn a bit. Done everything to burn it but nothing worked. I have used local coal also for barbecue before that was easy to burn. Use local coal for barbecue that is best and cost efficient. We have been fooled by Amazon and the seller.

Go ahead buy without any hesitation if you need charcoal.
