Ladderphobic? You need this!
I wanted to paint my house without the enormous expense of scaffolding. Falling off a ladder did not hold much appeal (how surprising! LOL) and without someone to foot one while I worked I thought I was stumped BUT THEN I found this Docapole. It is a quality piece of kit. Built to last and useful for oodles of other high up tasks not just as a painting tool. Docazoo sell separate accessories that can help you to carry out dusting and changing light fittings and they also sell replacement combo tips too which they supply from their home country if you ever need another. Dont be an ass like me...the strongly made plastic combo tip is within the shipping box but in separate packaging. Mine fell out as I opened the box and got hidden by a pile of papers. I thought it had been shipped with just the screw tip, which is permanently attached to the pole, so I got in touch with Docazoo and found out how well they handle their customers. Brilliantly, I must say. After emailing them THEN I found my combo tip where it had hidden itself from me and had to write to say a big sorry for wasting their time. So, unpack more carefully than I obviously did. Okay? LOL. It features good stiff clasps at each section to stop each extendible part from slipping down and since it is only a couple of metres when not opened up it can fit into cars and be stored easily. Honestly, it is nowhere near as wobbly as you might imagine it would be even when it is fully extended. It wobbles some when I use it but I am a woman who is only 5ft 4 ins tall with weedy little arms :) Put it into the hands of a strapping fella (sorry girls but on the whole we ARE shorter and weaker) it will be a doddle to hold steady. It is actually pretty light in weight too but not flimsy in any way. I was delighted to find a credible alternative to scaffs and ladders and am very pleased and proud of my purchase :) I want to say a big thank you to Donald from Docazoo. You are not only the world's most patient man (cos I am a right idiot) but your product is ABSOLUTELY THE MOST USEFUL extension pole that I have ever found. It extends to a massive height! Please pin a star on your chest, DONALD. Thank you :) I was thrilled to find my adjustable plastic tip but didnt half feel dumb! I have no hesitation in recommending this product. Now please buy one folks! You will be as happy as I am and your high up tasks will not go undone for lack of the right tool. The best tool!

Easy to store, light and long.
This is a review of the DOCAZOO Telescopic Pole. I purchased this because I wanted to clean my high windows and gutters safely from the ground without needing ladders, especially as our house has some second-storey windows that are tricky to reach. I like to use this for washing exterior windows, dusting cobwebs from high ceilings and eaves, cleaning ceiling fans, and attaching various heads for gutter maintenance or even hanging outdoor lights. What I like about this product is the sturdy yet lightweight aluminium construction that extends smoothly and locks securely at any length up to 24 feet, the versatile attachments that swap easily with the standard thread and hinge tip, the comfortable grip with rubber handles, and how it remains rigid enough for controlled use even when fully extended. My experience using this product is extremely positive; it arrived quickly and was simple to assemble with the included kit, the attachments like the squeegee and duster work brilliantly without streaking or leaving residue, and after several months of seasonal use it has held up perfectly with no signs of wear. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a reliable, multi-purpose high-reach cleaning tool. One caveat is that the adjusting levers are very sharp and hard on the hands, hence the 4 star review.

The perfect solution to my roof-cleaning dilemma!
I'd been struggling (and failing) for a whole year to find a way to clean the top of the transparent polycarbonate/perspex roof of my carport. With no access from either side (only from each end) of the long roof, reaching the middle section of the surface had proven impossible - resulting in an unsightly accumulation of moss, general dirt and algae. Extension poles from the usual DIY stores were too short to access this area, the roof is not sufficiently substantial to stand on, so what to do? Enter the 24ft DocaPole! I was initially somewhat deterred by the price which seemed excessive, but discovered some helpful independent demonstrations/recommendations on Youtube and finally decided it would be a wise investment if the pole would resolve my dirty roof issue. The DocaPole was delivered within 48 hours of ordering, has more than lived up to my hopes and expectations in use, and thus definitely justified the price. It is sturdy, well constructed and an appropriate weight for its purpose. The padded handle makes it easy to hold and nicer to use in inclement weather when gripping the metal pole would be unpleasantly cold. I like the fact that its universal screw thread permits the use of attachments which one may already possess - squeegees, gutter cleaning tools etc. I have yet to try it out on windows, but my dirty roof is a thing of the past and has been transformed (and the pole plus a duster attachment is perfect for cleaning cobwebs from ceiling corners indoors!) so I'm delighted.

A good buy
The task at hand was to paint a rendered wall about 3 metres wide on a two storey house. The wall is above a single storey kitchen extension. I didnโt want any platform stuck onto the extension roof and I wanted to do it myself if possible. I saw some extension poles at D-I-Y and at painting stores but they werenโt anywhere near long enough. I did an internet search not really expecting anything and Docapole from Amazon popped up. I worked out that it would be long enough to reach even up to the pointy bit at the very top just under the end of the ridge tile. The pole is surprising light and sturdy and comes with an angled head attachment. I didnโt need to use this attachment whilst painting but it was very useful for taking to D-I-Y stores when buying a paint roller for screwing onto the end of the pole. I put plenty of cloth covers on the extension roof and the yard floor to protect from drips of paint. I started at the bottom of the wall just above the extension roof and worked my way up extending the pole until I was painting the highest part. As the extension pole painted higher up the wall I switched my heavy duty roller 9 inch to a lighter 9 inch one and at the very top I used a 4 inch roller. Using a lighter roller meant I had more control as the Docapole was ever more extended. I had to be very careful not to paint over my neighbourโs brickwork as his side is not rendered and I managed to avoid doing so. The pole will flex a lot under a too heavy weight and using a lighter roller at the top made sense and worked very well. The surprising thing was that I could load the painting roller with paint in a plastic tray without having to take the roller off the end the pole, even with the pole at its fullest extent. When I had finished I was slightly in awe that I had been able to do it. It looked like a good paint job. I worked slowly and carefully and it took me around two hours. Having to work from the side of the kitchen extension and not being able to stand directly below the wall that I was painting was a bit awkward, but I am 62, not super fit or anything, and I managed to do it without straining anything. Buying the pole means I can paint this wall when I want, and when the weather is good. From now on my biggest expense is the paint. I am very happy to have made the purchase and consider the pole to be excellent value.

Heavier than it looks
Yes, I know the length should have been a giveaway that even though this is an aluminium construction it would be quite heavy but I never gave it a thought. Does make wielding it when extended fully more than a tad challenging and I wouldn't like to use this in an enclosed space for that reason alone. It is really easy to extend the pole itself as there is a latch mechanism for each of the sections that is made from a thick plastic that allows you to unlock that particular "clasp" and pull out a predeterined amount of the rod. With multiple on the length of the pole you do get good adjustment and you do not have to fully extend each section. Despite being tough enough to stop the pole from collapsing the locks are very well tensioned and do not need too much power to open and close the locking handle. Adding fitments to the head of the pole is a little bit tricky and you do need to be careful as there are some small pieces (a turning "nut" with a tiny screw) that will just drop out as you are loosening everything up to add or remove an attachment - that is a fun time scrabbling round on the pavement to find what amounts to a grub screw. We got this for cleaning the gutters on our standard terraced house built in 1905. Once you get than hang of it the pole is quite easy to use to guide your cleaning tool in to the gutter. If you do meet any resistance because of a stubborn blockage then it does bend quite alarmingly but is not showing any signs of stress of the metal after tacking the front guttering which had reed type grasses growing in the section between us and next door. You just need to make sure you have the right attachments for the job you want it to do.

Great piece of kit.
Make sure you get the right length tool for the job, a 3 metre pole wonโt reach up to clear gutters on the top of a 2 floor house. Youโll need the 7 metre version. PROS - Itโs quite light and ok for a healthy adult to wield for cleaning gutters, youโll have to find and use an attachment for gutter clearing - they arenโt supplied with this of course. You can find them on Amazon. It does have weight to it especially when extended - so will be a struggle for people who arenโt very physical. The pole sections are nice and stiff and easy to extend and retract and very smooth. The locking mechanism with the levers feels smooth and progressive - with a positive lock that never came undone. It is very well made. The pole grip area is very good too but I wish it was a little bit longer - higher up the lower pole. Itโs worth the money and the best one Iโve used. CONS - When fully extended it flexes a bit - a good 150 to 200mm side to side but only when meeting a stubborn obstacle in a gutter. So acceptable and it didnโt break. I got a free cleaning brush attachment that was unfortunately smashed on delivery but that is not a reflection on the equipment. It was also half out of the packaging. Overall a great piece of kit happy with my purchase. Pity about the delivery - which was also late.

Strong and sturdy but a little heavy to use easily
This pole was excellent and used to clean my house gutters in conjunction with a special tool. It is a little heavy to hold but it has to be strong and not bend too much. The only downside was the latches did not work well and kept moving making the pole tight to extend or loosen. Some improvement is needed there. I did think of a solution for it but can't remember at present what it was. Perhaps some lubrication. The pole can be used with various tools with the right fitting so other tasks such as window cleaning could be done. It cleaned my gutters well and that only needs doing about once a year so this product will not get used much but cheaper than paying someone to do it.

Only use for light work
I bought this pole to aid cabling installation as I'm an aerial installer. I wouldn't dream of using it (at full extention) for the suggested uses in the blurb. It's far too weak and whippy. I wouldn't dare put any strain on it in the horizontal at full extention as it will almost certainly break. For what I will use it for and making sure I am careful not to put too much strain on it I hope it's going to be fine. It is reasonable lightweight, it has got the reach I hoped for and I'm sure it will become an invaluable tool if it doesn't break. It can only really be used vertically at full extension by gradually feeding upwards. Repeatedly lifting from the horizontal into the vertical at full extension even without any real weight on the end will likely break it. Just be aware of what you are buying and what you are going to use it for and how you should use it. For my uses if it doesn't break its 5 stars, for the suggested uses 2 stars might be generous, that's why overall I've given it 3 stars.

GOOD PRODUCT - EASY TO USE, STURDY & EFFECTIVE
Chestnut trees are wonderful shade trees but very messy. Even with gutter guards installed, small particles off the trees accumulate and clog the perforated top cover, so we need to brush off the debris a few times a year to ensure the flow of rainwater. However, reaching to the top floor gutter guards of our old Victorian house (approx. 24ft high above ground) is not an easy task, especially without a ladder. Enter the DucaPole! To our delight, this pole makes the difficult/awkward job doable with relative ease. Screw on a brush head, extended the pole on the ground, hoist it & just brush the top covers to remove any debris. Voila! The job is done in no time! We wish we had bought this pole many years ago. The pole is very well-made. Very sturdy. Probably professional-grade. However, it's NOT light. Also, it's difficult to control when fully extended UNLESS you're strong. As a woman with the average strength & stamina, I had no problem doing the lower gutters, but I had to ask my husband to do the top floor gutter. Just be aware.
