One of the things that always happens when we wash our straws is they go missing or end up in another container, so it's always good to have a few extras laying around. That's the whole reason these exist, because the straw is what makes an Owala bottle an Owala. No straw and it's just a normal water bottle.The fit and firmness are the same as the original. I only put water in my bottles, but some people put other drinks in theirs, and having a clear straw is a must to make sure it's actually clean. The solid color straws from Owala are hard to inspect for dirt or mold, so I really like that these are semi translucent. They fit firmly like the OEM straw and have the same firmness to them as well.As always, I will update this review if anything changes.
