Game changer! Just having this extension shelf for the Gozney Roccbox changes the whole pizza making experience! While it is only a few extra inches, it allows bringing the pizza out closer to you to assist in turning the pizza; which makes for a much better pizza baking. As I’ve been learning to use the Gozney Roccbox, I noticed sometimes the pizza gets too close to the flame and might burn. With this extended shelf, I am able to launch the pizza closer to the outer edge and spin it more easily to maintain a safe distance and prevent crust burning. For me it has made all the difference in producing perfect pizzas every time. I'm sure with time I would get the hang of it but as a newbie pizza baker, this has allowed me to make more perfect pizzas in the last few weeks. It comes directly from Gozney, well packaged, and with warranty information. It arrived a day early, which is always nice. It is very easy to snap on to the edge of the Gozney Roccbox. When not in use, it stores easily inside the Roccbox oven, allowing you to still place your cover over the Roccbox. If you own a Gozney Roccbox, don’t wait any longer. Go ahead and order the shelf. You don’t think you need it, but you do!

Very happy with this purchase and would recommend purchasing if you have a Gozney Roccbox pizza oven. It makes turn the pizza very easy as it provides extra space.

This fit perfectly on my roccbox, wish I had found it a lot sooner! (It’s heavy and very sturdy). I can now rotate my pizza pulling it outward a little without being afraid of dropping it. It’s simple to fit onto the roccbox front, and it’s not permanent so you can remove it. Just clicks onto the front. Only “flaw” I see is, if you plan to take it off each time, I wonder how much wear it’ll do to the corners of the oven frame or the stone itself where it touches it? Also, I need to remove it if I have a lot of “debris” (hash/dust) to sweep out after heat burns all the charring leftover from the pizzas. It’s NBD, more like a flaw of both oven and the ledge. Overall I’d definitely recommend it.

I like it. I'm not entirely sure if I needed it... but I like it. Gives me a little more deck to rest my turning peel when spinning pies. Should have come with the oven for $899. Not sure why I had to pay another $100 for it...

They are certainly proud of this accessory which is evident by the price. However it is very well built, welded, and has a nice finish. Fit, form, and function are outstanding. Nothing worse than paying a premium price and receiving a mediocre item. If I was being snarky I'd say they should have designed this extension into the oven's basic design because it is quite useful and makes working the pizza much easier. Not absolutely necessary but you will be glad you bought it. So ouch to the pocket book but the tray will probably outlast the oven.

Easy to attach and remove. The added area makes getting pans out of the oven for stirring much easier.
