I love the size of this letter opener, it's relatively big for a letter opener. In my opinion, the blade is a bit too dull, but I completely understand the need for safety first. I'll sharpen it myself, no problem. The detail and scabbard really make this fun to leave out on the desk for others to see. Friends look at it and wonder if it's a costume dagger for a Renaissance costume. The blade is nicely firm in the hilt and the detail is all metal. The scabbard is maybe a fake leather/ vinyl. Overall, I really like it and may get another with different detailing just for fun. I do need to find a good stand for it, or make one.

It's a nice sword letter opener. But i thought the color was pink or at least fuschia. The one i received was red! I wanted pink. I specifically picked it cuz i thought it was hot pink. That was disappointing. And it could be sharper or i should say "thinner" to open letters better. But it does look nice n has much detail. That's why I'm keeping it. It does do its job.

This is a very neat sword that is made with obvious quality. I did not expect the level of detail on it and it is made in a very solid way. I ordered two and on one of them the blade is bent a little with the color of the metal on the scabbard slightly different from the metal on the hilt, but the other one is very perfect. The cutting edges are blunt so you may or may not like it for that. I personally don't mind, it gets letters open and looks great on my desk.

These swords are fabulous. Nice quality. I'm using them as a giveaway for something warrior themed, so they're perfect. For the price I think that they're excellent. The detail is very good. The material of both the sword piece and the scabbard is a very good quality, especially if you consider the great price. I bought several in different styles. The swords are NOT sharp, which is possibly a purposeful part of the design. They're letter openers, not real weapons. They are heavy and well made and a great size. They're about 12" long.

This is a great, high quality letter opener. To begin, the scabbard is dark red, not pink as the main picture might suggest. This was great for me as I love red. Secondly, the letter opener itself feels sturdy and has a sharp enough blade to open envelopes easily. The design of the hilt has a cross, the symbol of the Knights Templar from the Crusades. I highly recommend this.

Well, the scabbard isnt pink. That's a good thing. I dont think any templar walked around with a hit pink scabbard. This letter opener will definitely lead you on a righteous crusade against your tax envelopes while you tear them open just to find disappointment.Aesthetically pleasing and accurate to the templars. I absolutely love it!

I was so excited to receive this and when I opened it I was bummed to see the scabbard was red, not pink. I dont know if this was a mistake in shipping, or if the picture looks pink, but is really red. As far as the quality of the product, it works great.
