Proraso Beard Balm, 100 ml

When I first tried Poraso, I have to say I nearly returned it as the balm is like a soup consistency! The scent is lovely but the thin runny, gel like substance made me doubt it a lot. However! After a month of using it daily, my beard is in the best shape it's ever been regarding softness and conditioning! It doesn't have hardly any hold to style my beard, but it's still so good when on your beard! A superb conditioner that surprisingly lasts all day! Great price too!

The scent is quite subtle but it makes my beard beautifully soft. It’s easy to rub in and works almost immediately. It doesn’t allow for much styling or hold but I’m very impressed and will buy again

This product has a subtle aroma of limes.It’s no too sticky and greasy and covers nicely.It leaves a pleasant aroma behind it which lasts for a few hours.Made in Italy it is typical of their need for male grooming.A decent product which could be used on plain skin.

Very easy to apply and smells beautifully wish I could get a cologne in this scent.

Proraso products have really gone downhill in the last few years. They must be using really cheap alternative ingredients in their products now, which change both the consistency & fragrance of products like this one. This used to be an excellent beard balm, but like some of their other products I have used for years, this balm is a pale shadow of what it used to be.The balm leaves a nasty fishy aroma in your beard & also separates in the bottle to leave a very runny clear liquid. I can shake the bottle vigorously to return the contents to a thicker white liquid, but nothing removes the nasty fishy smell, except lots of soap & water!

Perfect for stopping the beard itches and the scent lasts all day

The Italian company PRORASO!out of Firenze offers a full line up of shaving products. I enjoy the full rich lather that my German shaving brush creates when using their dish of shaving soap. This is the second after shave balm I’ve used. The lotion feels different reflecting the ingredients Proraso uses. Rather slippery yes, but it is easy to apply and it absorbs well. The scent is not overwhelming and is unlikely to anger anyone sharing your space.I prefer the balm because I’m aging, so to speak so I don’t need the bracing effect of an alcohol based aftershave.So there you go, thanks for reading (oh, I like the glass container and green box)
