This does exactly what it should do exactly like I hoped it would. Zero lag or latency issues, seamless media streaming from device --> TV/Monitor, it's essentially perfect guys. The stand it comes with is an upgrade to the standard Ally X Rog stand as well, bonus.

After doing extensive research to find a good quality affordable dock for the rog ally I was brought here. Have been using for a few days and have had no issues whatsoever. I did get a 100w usb-c laptop charger to use with it so that I could use turbo mode, which works no problem. It does everything I need it to do. The hdmi even supports high fps and 4k. Although only 2 usb-a ports isn't much, it supports usb splitters as well!! I've got a monitor, keyboard & mouse, and external ssd all connected with no issues at all. The instructions mentioned how to do a firmware upgrade, but I found that I did not need to and it was pretty much plug and play. Very happy with my purchase. -Tip for users trying to turn their handheld into a pc; go to display settings and set it to only show the monitor. This will make everything look normal rather than large like it is on the handheld.

worked well, I believe it worked as it was supposed to. got it July 2025 dont use it very much and i was just sitting here and it suddenly disconnected. after an hour of trying to get it to work because i thought it was my portable monitor I realized my rog ally x was not charging as docked or my keybord being connected to it. it was the dock, just suddenly no more. for anyone wondering i take good care of my things, i dont toss them around, drop them, use them when it is too hot, ect..... sent a few emails back and forth on April 9th and a new one showed up at my door on April 11th. 8 months later from my original order my dock broke from normal use and they still sent me a new one. yes it sucks but it happens, some units of a product are faulty but when the seller knows that and sends a new one that's 5 stars to me. I'll update if anything happens to this one. today is April 11th 2026.

This dock is so simple but yet so useful and effective. I purchased this for a ROG Ally X. I was really looking for a stand but wanted something that could provide power at the same time so the Ally X good run in high performance mode. It was also a bonus that it had a LAN Networking port and the ability to push video to a monitor or TV. I kept comparing available docks within the price range. This costs a little more than some of the competitors but I think the simplicity and design are great and the ports included exactly what I was looking for. The fact that it can come apart into two pieces (the base and the dock) is convenient. It makes it easier to pack into a bag and also if you only want to use the dock while you are out and about it's a minimal space saving option. It has an attached cable to plug into the USB-C power port on the Ally X. It is designed to utilize the Gaming Device's factory AC adapter to power the dock in the specific POWER USB-C port. I was not even looking for the networking cable port but I have used this many times to speed up downloads and updates. It has worked great. I have not tried the 4k output at 120 hz. The Ally X is optimized to game on the builtin 1080p 120hz screen and I have only plugged the dock into an LG 1080p gaming monitor and it worked perfectly. My only complaint about this product is an issue that I experienced just a few times. While I had the device connected to the dock and using the original factory included power supply I have seen a message that said something along the lines of "please use the official power adapter for this device". I did not notice any problems, with performance or anything else, but I just felt to be completely transparent that I would mention it. This is also the reason it gets the 4 out 5 star review. Otherwise it is a great dock.

This JSAUX docking station works flawlessly with my Rog Ally X. It has all the ports I need—HDMI, USB, Ethernet—and everything connects without lag. The build quality is solid, and the device sits securely in the dock. Setup was super easy, and it even charges while docked. Perfect for turning the Rog Ally X into a mini gaming console or desktop. Definitely worth it for the convenience and functionality

I'm not very happy with this choice, and thought about returning it, but I think I'll keep it because it's good enough. The biggest problem is that it's tippy, partially because of the narrow base and partially because my steam deck's port location bends the cable in the opposite direction it wants, which applies pressure to push the steam deck to the right and off-center. I wasn't paying enough attention to the product description and didn't realize that the dock comes apart into 2 pieces. I thought it was a con at first because it contributes to the balance issues, though the opportunity to make it a combination portable-dock and at-home-dock is one of the main reasons I decided to keep it. One issue I wasn't expecting is that, at least on the black version, the cover for personalized art is tinted black. Fortunately, I used a very bright picture so it just looks like it desaturated the colors, but if you use a gloomy picture you can expect it to look basically black. Worth noting that it doesn't come with a charger, which might be expected to some but surprising to others.

Best dock i ever have .

Had to return. Would give zero stars if allowed. Using top tier cables and monitor, refresh rates, vrr, etc are not as advertised. Problems with 100 watt power adapter even allowing full 30watt mode on Ally X. Got a 240watt power supply and when docked I still get low power warnings. ALSO BE WARNED: other "upgraded models" from JSAUX also make false claims regarding vrr and 4k/1440p refresh rate capabilities. Honestly, this company just outright lies to customers and they should be banned from Amazon until they fix the misinformation in their listings. I am attaching a screenshot detailing where JSAUX themselves admits that the information on the "UPGRADED" more expensive model is in fact FALSE.

Great dock for the rog easy to use perfect amount of port connections. Had a fault with my original dock and happened past the return period but the company was super helpful and sent me a replacement would definitely buy again

Made for ROG Xbox Ally X. The docking is really fast and reliable also. Highly recommended!
