MacBook Air M1 2020 needed HDMI adapter port bc of broken screen
The media could not be loaded. After reading through NUMEROUS different adapter product reviews… I finally decided to go with this one.. glad I did! I purchased it because I broke my laptop screen and needed an HDMI adapter port for my MacBook Air M1 so I could use my tv as a monitor until I figure out what I’m going to do about it.. but I regularly need other connection adapters as well, so this is perfect having many different ports available all in one. I received it today and connected within minutes with no issues or glitches in connectivity or screen sharing!I also HIGHLY appreciate that they offer a 3 year warranty from a QR code given inside the box! Great value for the money, easy to use and has a really nice sleek design that’s small enough to not feel like it’s in the way.Highly recommend.Today is April 14th, 2025.. So far it is working exactly as I needed it to! Will update here if I run into future issues!

🔥 GREAT DONGLE FOR GENERAL USE
I got this dongle for my Mac, and it’s been working great! I mostly use it as a USB connector and card reader, and it does both jobs really well. The HDMI connection is also great for external monitors—no problems there!. However, If you want to use this dongle with monitors which are built for high end gaming and need more refresh rates Hz. This monitors usually don’t have HDMI input, and even if they do, the refresh rate is limited to 60-90Hz, which isn’t ideal for high-performance tasks and high end softwares. I faced this issue myself but found a solution: when I connected my DP cable directly from the monitor to my laptop, I was able to achieve the desired 180Hz refresh rate. this shows using HDMI won't always work to get high amount of performance, and for that we have to use DISPLAY PORT (DP) cable.One most important thing to note is that this dongle doesn’t have a DP (DisplayPort) connection, so you’ll need to connect your laptop directly to the monitor via USB-C to DP for more performance.overall its a good DONGLE of general use.

Works perfectly with my new chromebook
My old card reader did not work with my new chromebook plus, and only sort of worked with my old chromebook(lol). This one works, like really works and is super fast. I can have two cards playing video simultaneously AND I have my external mouse plugged into it.It's all metal housing is sleek and it feels substantial. The cord is stout and the connections are heavily reinforced.With the two usb ports and the card readers this has really increased the functionality of my new chromebook plus.Would highly recommend.

Works well! It charges your device while projecting via HDMI
I used it today. Everything works well so far. My main concern was the ability to charge my iPad while the dongle projected via HDMI. The iPad charged while projecting, so I’m satisfied. I’ll update if anything changes.
