In my experience, it is often that the idea of a product and how it will improve my life exceeds the reality once it arrives. I was pleasantly surprised by the opposite happening.My partner and I are both readers and as we have aged, she eventually bought a Kindle Paperwhite because of the ability to increase font size and ease aging eyes. She loves it. I resisted, having adapted to Audio books for similar reasons. But recently I have been feeling the need for digital note-taking. This led me to discover the Scribe.I have tried several digital devices for writing and drawing. As a teacher, having a canvas where I can work out problems or sketch diagrams and save them digitally, etc is a useful tool. However, none of the ones that worked in the classroom felt good enough to entice me for personal note-taking. The Scribe promised a more natural note taking experience.I’m skeptical about most products these days but after comparing several products with similar claims, the price point on the Scribe ultimately convinced me to try it. I couldn’t be more pleased. I use it daily.The writing feels very natural with the right amount of resistance. It’s easy and intuitive to organize and store your notes. It’s very light weight and easy to carry. The battery life is superb.I don’t know how it compares to similar products that claim a natural “feel” for writing, but it beats most in price. When you combine that with the fact that it also works as a Paperwhite type e-reader and has got me back into reading the printed word, and it’s a purchase that met my expectations of functionality and exceeding my predictions of practicality.

It works as well as original

The scribe senses the tip more then 1/4" off the screen. Since you literally can't lift the pen away to create a space or fit an i, everything is just a big scribble with few legible words.

The tip of my kindle scribe pen fell out so I bought this replacement. The pen works great and the tips fit perfectly in my scribe pen so now I have 2 pens just in case. The only minor thing I didn’t like was you couldn’t erase with the back of the pen and had to select the erase function. Minor inconvenience but overall great pen!!

Writes even when you're not touching the tablet (in my case Kindle Scribe) so lines are made even as you pick up the pen and... that's just a mess. : )

I feel like these write better than the AMZN ones I got initially. Very smooth writing experience with tactile sensitivity and no delay in writing, making my fouintain pen look amazing.I just bought 10 more for 25% discount.

The media could not be loaded. Bought as a replacement for use with my Kindle Scribe. Laggy doesn’t begin to describe it. When selecting pen types of menus it usually doesn’t work. When writing, it still writes while my hand is hovering above the screen. Returning after less than a minute of opening.
