NYX Jumbo Lip Pencil 722 Hera

I just received this today and for the life of me I cannot get the top off. I've had others try, I've tried pliers (all that did was crack it) I tried the freezer trick. Nothing!. I think it's super glued or something. Never had another lipstick do this. I'm so annoyed. Color (Hera) looks pretty but that's all I can say so far. Not sure but I think this can be sharpened with a pencil sharpener also. ..... I will continue my quest to get it open without completely breaking it *fingers crossed*

Soft and comfortable on the lips

I LOVE the color and consistency of the pencil but like everyone else the pencil busted apart and I had scrape the product out into another container. I've bought many of these over the years from Ulta and drugstores and this has never happened before.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I purchased this color because sometimes there are variabilities in how the shades appear on our monitors. While I do love the color, it's really not one I'd wear because it's SO pink. The pencil goes on nicely, is very creamy, sharpens well, but is simply not a color for me. It's possible I'll be able to mix it with something else more nude (maybe a brown?) and it'll look more natural on me, but for me this shade just feels loud. It you're into bright pinks, or even fuchsias, this is a fantastic shade for you.I would recommend this product and would buy it again, just not this specific shade.PS: Review written by Jodi, Ray's wife.

I read the review and saw the photo with the broken lip pencil because she wasn't able to get the cap off. I thought, hey, sometimes things happen. Well, unfortunately, that's EXACTLY what happened to my lip pencil... and not once, but twice, because I bought two of them!!! I'm not adding a picture because it would be identical to the one in her review. My pencils will be meeting up with her pencil in the land fill. I think these pencils were exposed to some intense heat and the plastic cap melted onto the pencil making it impossible to get it off without destroying the pencil. While not expensive... just save your money and try elf pencils instead.

I tried everything, pliers, etc, but the caps on ALL THREE were so tight that they were impossible to remove. I returned the product about a month ago... but have not received a refund or a replacement. Proceed with caution. (Two stars because I liked the first order I got of these -- nice color.)

Me gusta el color y la textura ni muy dura ni muy suave, no deja grumos en los labios, ni me causa alergia.

I bought Deep Red and I love it, glides on smoothly, beautiful deep but vibrant red colour. Lasts very well throughout the day -that's through a few drinks and lunch, only a very slight touch up needed at around 3:00 pm. My only gripe with these pencils is they do go down quite quickly so need to sharpened often so they don't last as long as a regular lipstick would. Very good value for money, will definitely buy again.

Tolle Farben und schön aufzutregen, nur leider halten sie nicht besonders lange auf den Lippen. Sind sie hingegen im gesicht verschmiert, fällt es schwer die Farbe wieder von der Haut zu bekommen. Der kleine Stift ist gut zu verstauen.
