I got these actually to go with a candle lamp (where you use the lightbulb to heat up the wax rather than burning a flame) and they work great. They all have wonderful scents. They're currently being used in a bedroom, and it's not too powerful for that size space. I'm not sure how well they'd do in the main part of the house, but they still smell wonderful.I did burn them initially and they burned pretty cleanly and evenly. They're under a heat lamp now though and that's evening the whole thing out. I did give one as a gift and she loved it too!

These candles are, as I said in the headline, fine. Although they are on the smaller side, that is what I expected based on the photos and description so I was not surprised by that. They came in great shape and very well packaged. The Apple Cinnamon and Lemon Lavender scents are nice, but the vanilla cupcake scent just did not do it for me. It smells rather synthetic and not quite true to its description. Although I can't pinpoint exactly what it does smell like - I would not call it Vanilla Cupcake. It is too bad that that is the scent that is doubled, as I would have rather had two of either of the others. However, I do find that although it takes a some time for their scent to waft through a larger room, after a few minutes it becomes noticeable and does fill a room. Overall, these candles would make a great gift and are also good to keep around the house.

The candles smelled great, but burned out quickly.

This boxed set of aromatherapy candles is very giftable. It's well packaged to ship, and each individual candle has a unique and popular scent. The candles burn clearly and cleanly, they each last a long time. The neutral labels would suit any decor. The candles are quite nice, and any candle lover would like them.

These are on the smaller side, but the scents are great and it's overall a nice complimenting set. Very happy with this so far.

I was really looking forward to trying the vanilla cupcake scent and it was a huge disappointment. It had a chemical-like scent that overpowered the part of the scent that smelled nice both before and during use. I honestly can't identify the bad smell, but it smells more chemical-like than fragrance-like. It ruined the scent of the candle because it smells awful. It's definitely not a scent associated with vanilla or cupcakes. Of course, two of the four candles have that wretched smell so that's half of the set that won't get used after I tested one out. The other two scents aren't what I'd consider true to their supposed scent, but the lemon lavender one smells very nice. The apple cinnamon one is okay, but not something I'd ever buy if I got to smell it beforehand. It's just too artificial smelling and you can't really detect an apple scent in it that's distinguishable. The lemon lavender one was definitely the best of the bunch, but it didn't really smell as expected either. I honestly feel this set is extremely overpriced because of the quality and size of the candles. I actually would get the lemon lavender scent again if it was offered alone or in a set of just that scent, but I wouldn't get it at the current asking price. I know the prices of things have skyrocketed these last three years or so, but none of the candles in this set are worth $5 apiece. (The price is currently $20 for the set of four.)

These little candles gave off a good smell. Didn’t last long but there good for small areas such as bathrooms and bedrooms.
