FrenchMay 4P 4 Pack Shop Close to Ceiling Light Fixtures

I ordered 12 of these for my garage and laundry a couple years ago and would love to give them a 5-star rating but one of the units I put up in my garage started "flashing" on one end about a month ago. I would gladly order replacements but they are now unavailable. There are several other options that look similar but I would hate to buy a different brand only to find out it will not connect the same. Kinda bummed...

If I could give NO stars I would!! I purchased these to replace my old shop lights. They installed fine and worked great for the first 4 months. Then the first light started to flash like a disco light. At this point I was unable to return or file a refund on amazon and FrenchMay is all but impossible to get in contact with to claim the "Marketed" 5 year warranty! Amazon customer service did not assist when I contacted them and directed me to FrenchMay. NOW all 4 lights have failed. I wasted my money and have been emailing "SANDY" @ FrenchMay working to get a full refund. At this point I have only been refunded for 1 light. I have spend countless hours on this matter and I SHOULD be getting paid for the work I am putting in for a simple refund. IF someone from amazon reads this they should ban this company from selling as they do not stand behind their 5 year warranty and provide no customer service.Sandy if you read this review REFUND ME my money!

The media could not be loaded.  Amended FrenchMay contacted me today and offered to send a replacement item. Seems I was wrong about the customer service department. Not sure why my other emails I sent went unanswered but the quick response to the review is greatly appreciated. So 5 stars for the quick response but the original lights were not great.I purchased these lights about a year ago and installed them myself. They are all linked in a row and worked perfectly for about 6 months. The first one started flickering at 6 months and the second on about 7 months ago, now all 4 flicker and starts to give you a headache after only a few minutes. I contacted Amazon and they said I had to contact the vendor. 6 emails later no response. Looks like I am out the 100 dollars with no support. Thanks FrenchMay for the terrible product and even worse support. Never buy anything from this company, they don't stand behind their products.

Bought a 4 pack and installed in garage. One of them started flashing 2 weeks ago and now the second one is as well. For the money I paid even 1 fail should not happen but now 2 of 4, really? When I say flashing this is what happens when they fail, one half of the strip stays solid like normal , other half blinks like a Christmas tree. I am sure you can find the same cheap and unreliable system without paying what I did. I got ripped off please don't do the same. And what a hassle they were to install in garage so now I have plenty of rework coming my way. Especially since they are not bulbs so nothing to swap out just have to replace everything.

The media could not be loaded.  The point of using LED lights is to have low maintenance, low energy lighting. I order four of these lights. Two failed within 6 months, the other two 5 months later. I don't run these every day, maybe a few hours every week. Now, you don't just go and replace a bulb if that happens, you have to replace the whole lamp which is some effort including electrical work - and it gets even more complicated if your connect them in a line like I did in my garage (not on photo). The LED lamps came with a 5 year warranty. Problem is, the seller did not respond after my two emails over the last two weeks which makes me think they don't give about the crap they sell or their customers.

Pros, is they all worked when plugged in.Cons:Poor design, uncovered tubes are not pleasant to look at when turned off.GLARING black plug in cords are un-sightly.Cheap plastic coverings are way to thin.Brackets to mount on ceiling are to small, holes are way to close together. and the clips have to be bent in order to attache the ends to the fixture. Very poor design.They are very difficult to surface mount, so if you intend to surface mount look elsewhere.

The media could not be loaded.  Buyer beware! We purchased a 4-pack of 4ft. LED lights without reading others’ reviews. Mistake! Lesson learned! One of the lights, after just a few months of use, has started flashing rapidly. It’s really bad. Not only does it hurt your eyes when inside the pantry, but it hurts your eyes to even look at the outside of the pantry with the light on inside. An LED light should last longer than a few hours of total use. I have just emailed the seller, FrenchMay, requesting a replacement. I will update my review based on their response.Update! - After reaching out to the company, Sandy was incredibly helpful and promptly issued a credit for the malfunctioning light. They renewed my faith by standing behind their product.

I don’t really like the fact that the termination points are inside of the light fixture without any way to cover them which makes it so you can see the shadow of the wires through the lense cover
