The USB has been great so far. Had it for maybe a year, and I use it for everything. Should go without saying (especially for more important files) that it's smart to keep redundant copies on other devices, just in case. Also, a general note on USB storage devices because I see some confusion in other comments: manufacturers calculate 1GB as 1000mb whereas your Windows system calculates 1GB as 1024mb - this can be the reason why there might be a perceived discrepancy between what it says 'on the box' compared to what you see on your computer after you plug it in and check. It's not false advertising; just a difference in measurement standards.
