## Description

Loctite 55 - Thread Sealing Tape for Fast, Reliable Seals The Loctite thread sealing thread is the right choice for fast, reliable seals for pipe threads and fittings. This is suitable for securing and sealing threads made of metal and plastic. Especially practical: no waiting time is necessary for curing, as the thread develops an immediate sealing effect against full pressure. After tightening, the threaded connections can be readjusted. With the DVGW/KTW approval for gas and drinking water*, the thread sealing thread is suitable for drinking water and other water pipes. In addition, the pipe seal is suitable for applications with high temperatures (up to 130°C). With the help of the handy container, the application is very easy, as the cutter is directly integrated. Clean parts with a wire brush. End of thread approx. Place two threads away from the end of the male thread and hold it with one finger. Wrap thread beginning at the end of the pipe in the direction of thread onto the pipe thread. For optimal function, the thread base should be filled, whereas direct placement in the threads is not necessary. Do not wind too much thread. Review: Wish someone introduced me to this sooner - I've tried this after spending a lot of time trying a lot of other solutions (teflon tapes, paste etc) and I wish someone told me about this sooner, not only it seals well but it also allows you to unscrew a little bit to line things up. It's very easy to use and considering that it's 160m it should last me a very long time. Since I started using this I never had to redo a seal which saved me so much time, energy, patience and money as well.

I've tried this after spending a lot of time trying a lot of other solutions (teflon tapes, paste etc) and I wish someone told me about this sooner, not only it seals well but it also allows you to unscrew a little bit to line things up. It's very easy to use and considering that it's 160m it should last me a very long time. Since I started using this I never had to redo a seal which saved me so much time, energy, patience and money as well.
