Challenging but fun. Great values and really big

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Looked challenging Build quality: Lots of parts were not very well attached. Easy to knock loose. Ease of assembly: Super challenging which was desired.

This is a very difficult kit but it turned out really well it was only missing 1 piece and they are very good at replacing parts

Very cool ship, but beware in assembly, as loath as I am to glue these, it is absolutely necessary in some phases of the assembly. The bowsprit and the masts do not fasten securely enough to withstand even the slightest movement. Some parts of the instructions are intuitive, as not every step is illustrated. But overall pretty cool but will test your patience. Good value, as a similar Lego is three times the price.

First of all, there were several parts missing. Second, parts did not want to stay connected- so needed to use glue. There were a few extra parts that I was able to modify and use. Would not recommend The Flying Dutchman 13197. Third, the website that is listed in the instruction manual for customer service is not a good website.

I bought this for my grandson who loves to build with Lego type blocks. He is definitely enjoying the challenge of this project!

My grandson completed it in approximately 15 hours. It has numerous movable parts and when completed is beautiful. It is huge and the instructions I assume are easy enough to follow. This is the his second big Lego. He has the Big Boy Train and track.

This will definitely keep you busy for awhile but can be a huge pain in the butt for a handful of pieces that dont really cling onto eachother

Nicht ganz so schnell aufzubauen wie Lego. Aber gerade deswegen echt empfehlenswert für Kinder. Sieht wirklich toll aus.

Hat meinem 11 jährigen Sohn viel Spaß beim Aufbauen bereitet. Eines der besten Sets seiner (inzwischen umfangreichen) Sammlung größerer Klemmbausteinsets

Mit 12 Jahren zusammen gebaut ohne Probleme hat echt Spaß gemacht

Viele Teile fürs Geld, sehr interessanter Aufbau, sieht toll aus, leider aber auch viele filigrane Teile die wärend des Zusammenbaues immer wieder abfallen, nichts für Grobmotoriker

Ich bin Sammler von klemmbaustein Schiffen und dieses darf nicht fehlen. Qualität top.
