## Description

Our widest range of materials and finishes. The Original Cork Ribbon Some things don't need fixing. The Classic Road Cork has been Cinelli's signature bar tape since 1987 — the year we introduced the cycling industry's very first EVA cork tape and quietly changed what handlebar comfort meant. The formula is simple: EVA for shock absorption, cork for that warm, natural feel and its moisture-wicking properties. Medium density, 2.5mm thick, 2050mm long — enough to wrap most drop bars with room to spare. It's been imitated more times than we can count. But there's only one original. Includes caps and finishing tape. Installation Guide Step 1 Put the two short pieces of cork ribbon around the back of brake lever sleeves. Step 2 Starting at the bottom of the handlebar, wrap the ribbon around the bar giving it a complete turn inward letting the ribbon over hang the end by a few mm to allow it to be secured in by the bar ends once complete. Step 3 While stretching slightly, working your way up the bar, continue coiling the ribbon, wrapping it over the ribbon already applied. Cut excess ribbon and affix with adhesive tape. Step 4 Tuck in excess cork ribbon into the end of the handlebar and set the bar end cap in position. Repeat the process on the other side of the handlebar.

Review: Quality, easy-fit bar tape - Ticks in all of the boxes for this Cinelli tape. Super-streachy with some self adhesive coating on the inside makes it really easy to fit for a professional looking result. The textured cork outer surface is soft and grippy with an attractive matt finish, I chose the white colour option with no signs of surface wear or discolouration after a few 60 mile rides. The tape doesn't appear to delaminate when peeled back for cable maintenance, some expensive tapes suffer from this as well as top surface wear at the hoods from gloves, no such issues with the product
