Love it. Works perfect and easy to install. Never accidentally turn off your ceiling fans, auto lights on and off with Alexa, heating/cooling system etc. It definitely solves the solution as needed for your situation. The magnetic ones work great too, you can smack them on and off easily. They are both awesome products that get the job done!! The price is good.

These are great little additions to a light switch that needs to remain turned on. I've installed three of these and appreciate the size that fits perfectly over the switch, and the longer screws included as the screws with the switch plate aren't long enough. They are easy to install taking just a couple minutes. A wonderful invention that looks much better than taping over the switch or adding a "DON'T TOUCH!" sign that gets ignored! LOL

I installed this on a light switch that controls a critical outlet for my smart home equipment. In my case, the outlet powers my computer power box and smart home hub, and every now and then a family member would flip the switch off without realising what it was for. As you can imagine, this would knock everything offline and cause a lot of issues with automations and remote access. This cover prevents that from happening. It securely blocks access to the switch while still giving me the option to flip it off in case of an emergency. It’s a good balance between protection and accessibility. The cover is a bit stiff at first, so it takes a little force to open, but it seems to loosen up over time with regular use. Installation was straightforward—it just screws on over the existing switch plate. Once installed, it feels sturdy and doesn’t look out of place. If you have certain switches that absolutely need to stay on, this is a simple and affordable way to avoid unwanted shutdowns.

I replaced my magnetic covers with these because when my adult children would visit they would remove the cover and then complain the fan didn't work (it's on a remote). Super easy to install, sturdy plastic and comes with slightly longer screws to accommodate the additional thickness. They are a little hard to squeeze to open but I like this feature because this is more of a deterrent to NOT open it. They are a great value and much needed accessory if you have smart lights/fans or plugs controlled by a switch.

i guess i should have looked at the description and not the picture. I thought it came in a pair and not just a single, other than that, it is child proof. i have a switch that should not be turned off, i bought it specifically for that and it is very easy to use. it fits well over the switch and it blends in well with the current plate. Looks as if there is no switch there. All in all, its a good product.

Perfect solution if you have a wall outlet controlled switch that you don’t necessarily want turned off. I loved this solution and they install quick and work well
