The holder itself does a good job.The plastic that connects to the dashboard lasted 3 hours and came off. After following all the instructions on securing it.

I had been using a magnetic holder for some years but a heavier phone and a change of car to one with more flexible vents made that less practical. My desire was to have a clamp that would fasten to the vents more sturdily. Unfortunately, the vent clips with this product are too short for my vent slats so in the end I had to resort to fastening it to the dashboard. It's still early days but so far it has held firm over bumps, round bends, and in the high heat. It's also less expensive than some other products so well worth a try.
