I was a little unsure about buying this because it is expensive (£29.99) and some the reviews mentioned that it didn’t get hot enough, but I’m honestly really impressed. The pad heats up super fast, and the High setting is actually perfect for me. When I wear it over my eyes, I'm not sure I could handle more heat! I find it really soothing, especially when I have sinus pressure. Best feature for me is how you can move it around to target different areas, like the sides of your head/jaw, back of the head, or just over one eye. The cable is long enough to use comfortably without being too restrictive. I’m glad I bought this, it feels safer, and is more flexible than a hot water bottle.

It works for jaw pain, and the switch is easy to use. Furthermore, the three temperature settings are nice, so you can increase the temperature slowly if you're anxious about how hot it will be. However, it doesn't heat the temporal area near the eyes, so it is useless for TMJ pain caused by the joint, which is higher up. This is the reason for my poor review is because it isn't fit for purpose and the picture misleads you into thinking the heating element rests higher up the face than it does. The product cannot be washed, only wiped down, so the chemical smell of the product is overwhelming initially, which sucks if you already feel unwell due to TMJ pain. Additionally, it makes your face sweat, and the switch is so sensitive that any knock turns it off. The cable isn't that long, and being plugged in to use it can be inconvenient.

Works really well for TMJ discomfort and easing muscle aches. I use around my neck too. Takes a while to heat up but once it does it stays lovely and warm, timer function is also very handy. Cable could be longer.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Looking for a face warmer to help with my TMJ problem. Really helps. Doesn't take long to warm up and there are 2 heats. Comfortable to wear over head. I bought this for TMJ and after the first time using it I noticed an improvement straight away. The heat is just right for your face

Very comfy fit but the heat setting was the same on all settings and not very hot

Doesn't really help for TMJ which was one of the reasons I purchased. Doesn't heat the temporal area , thus meaning it does not ease the TMJ pain caused by the joint, which is higher up. For that reason I will be returning the item.
