I jumped a bit to conclusions at first with this. Upon opening the box, i saw that one of the finger lights pull tab for the battery fell out and the light was basically nearly dead. I suspect it fell out during shipment, so if you need exactly 40, be aware you might have a few dead units. The other thing I noted, and this took me a minute, is that there is a on/off switch, but it's under the rubber band. So when you pull the battery tab and it doesn't illuminate, find the switch and slide it. On the positive side, they are easy to attach to your fingers, and the image is relatively bright. You can see them clearly in a semi-dimmed room, and in the dark they are quite bright. There was some assembly with this. I'd say 1/3-1/2 of the finger lights projectors fell off in transit. They affix by friction only and they come off rather easily. Something to be aware of as these projectors are a chocking hazard for small kids. So long as your kids are old enough to know not to stick things in their mouth, then you're good to use this.

I love spoiling kids! Every year I do Halloween goodie bags, and every year I always make sure each bag gets a light-up toy. Necklaces, bracelets, wands, pins you name it, I did it one year. But now I was starting to run out of ideas!! Glad I stumbled upon these though.They came packaged in a box which rocks, because if you like me have purchased low priced novelty light up toys, you know that a lot of times they just come in the bag. Because of that some of them will get damaged in transport. For this one, some of them had the top that has the image pop off, but it's as easy as putting a pen cap back on (pictured). I tested them in the dark, and the image can still be seen 2 feet away from the wall so definitely happy about that.So why the star taken off the rating? When I tested it on my finger, everything went well till I took it off. Upon taking it off, the rubberband itself detached from the finger light. There is a little slit (i left a picture) that the band is inserted into. Although very easy for me to reattach, not so much for a 5 year old. I like to give out items that need zero involvement from an adult, or at most if they can't read something (1 year I did glow in the dark tattoos and included instructions). I still would recommend these though.

Cute little finger flashlights with a Halloween Theme. The are 2" long and have a rubber band so you can hold it on your finger if you like. They have 3 button batteries and a plastic tab is in place to preserve batteries until you are ready to use. There is a slide button for the on and off function. The end lights up and you can make your object larger by moving away from the wall or small by moving closer. You can turn the flashlight end and make your image go in circles and upside down. I received 41 lights, 10 bats, 6 cauldrons, 5 RIP Headstones, 5 skulls, 5 spiders, 5 pumpkins and 5 cats. No ghosts as pictured in sales listing. These will be used as giveaways for a school Trunk or Treat event.

These little finger lights will make great party favors for October get-togethers. The kids (probably aged four and up) can wear them on their fingers when they trick-or-treat on Halloween night. Most of them still have their battery pull tabs, so they should light up just great. Not only are they good illumination, they project cute little Halloween shapes onto the wall, which will surely delight the kiddies. Some of the projection image parts popped off during shipping, but they were easy to reaffix onto the finger light itself. If the rubber band that slips onto the finger comes off the unit when removing from a finger, it's easy for an adult or older child to reinsert it into the slot for it. I look forward to seeing the delight on the kids' faces when they see these cute favors.

Lots of fun! These little lights will delight young children. All forty came intact and work well. They will provide both fun and protection for little trick-or-treaters, worn in the dark as they go from door to door. The lights attach to the finger with a rubber band which is a bit awkward and slips off the light when removing from the finger. Little ones might need some assistance with this. But overall, with eight different spooky projections, these lights are a very good value (40 lights for $16!) and will be quite the hit this Halloween!

These are so stinking cute!! I love them for a candy alternative for trick or treaters or little gifts for my son's classmates. Not sure which we're going to do yet but they are really cute!When I was pulling one off my hand it fell to the floor and came apart. None of the pieces were damaged and I was able to reassemble it. It still works fine but I would be mindful of giving these out to younger kiddos because of the small parts/batteries.

I was very impressed with these. I assumed they would be rather cheap, but they are good quality. There was a pull tab upon delivery on each light so they aren't accidentally turned on in shipping. It's very easy then to turn these on by a switch. The lights came in good packaging so there was no damage in shipping either.The light itself is quite fantastic. I am impressed with the quality, the picture I took does not do it justice. I went and shined it on my ceiling and it looks even better from farther away. My kids have been playing with these and love them, we are going to be loved on Halloween when we give these out!

This projected flash light is amazing. Great for kids, honestly any age past putting things in mouth stage. Great favors for classroom or to pass out during trick or treat. We do some candy and some toy options for kids to pick out each year. These are bright and crisp and clear. Easy on and off. The finger rubber band holds in place. Worth the price. Happy to recommend!
