Impressive Rope
Didn't think I'd write a review for nylon rope but here we are.. Very impressed by the quality of this rope. It is well made and well packed. It is braided well, there is no fraying, feels very soft and, very easy to tie and untie. This rope will do everything you'd expect a nylon rope to do.

Good for measuring pitching distance!
I bought this to measure out the 46' and now 50' pitching distance for my son when we go practice off the mound. It does appear to be of good quality.

Works as a flag lanyard
It works as a flag lanyard. Easy to melt the ends with my soldering gun.

American Made
Amazing rope for flags with width of 1/4 pulleys. American made and it has a 212 lbs of support until it breaks. Good on high winds especially near a lake but would recommend a thick rope more than 1/4 near coast oceans or extreme high winds. Easy to adjust length by cutting and burning rope ends to maintain rope strength. Perfect for 2x3, 4x6 and 5x8 flags max with this type of strength and width of the rope. If you have a flag bigger than 5x8 I would recommend a thicker rope width than 1/4. 2024 update: Bought this in 2020 and it has not break or frail from UV and weather. Still using the same rope I replaced in 2020. It will stretch out overtime but will still hold strong.

Well made rope
Well made rope. Much better than the braided kind. Still, if you cut it you will want to tape and burn end. * I paid full price for this product and received no compensation to write this review. I believe in the honest review process and abhor any efforts to game the system.

Strong & Flexible; Resists Weather; Ties Easy Knots
I'm at midlife, but one of my first memories with my dad involved a hardware store goose chase for nylon rope: "It's strong and doesn't fray and won't snap on me." The length of white rope he bought was used throughout my childhood and early adult life, and this 1/4-inch solid braid nylon rope from T.W. Evans Cordage is an exact doppelgänger, lending itself to any task. Made in the U.S.A. with an ample working load of 212 pounds and a break strength of 1250 pounds, I've held up fences with it, staked trees in high winds, outlined temporary landscape borders, and anchored furniture in a U-Haul. It's flexible, ties easy knots, and endures heavily sunlit and regularly wet conditions. It's not cheap. But if the past predicts the future, this 50-foot hank bought for $8.99 will get tons of use and may outlive me, which beats the functionality of almost anything I'll have ever bought for that price. Buy with extreme confidence. - (Was this of use? If so, let me know by clicking "Helpful." Cheers!)

Wicks water very well for moss pole!
Tested this alongside 5 other types/brands and this one worked best to wick water for my DIY moss poles (strung it thru a PVC pipe with sealed cap on bottom up to top, wrapped back down around the outside and covered with spag moss held in place by mesh netting. Fill pipe with water and makes for a consistent perfect level of moisture for the moss… my monstera loves it!)
