Fishing the California Central Coast mainly for rockfish and Lingcod.I initially bought these jigs looking for an alternative to the Shimano Flat Fall Butterfly jigs. Received them and was impressed from the get-go by the build quality. The colors were vibrant, seemed like they'll last, and the hooks top notch.Fast forward a couple weeks and I'm able to get on the water about 240' deep. I had lost my swimbait so I decided to slap the Black and Gold on...I couldn't even touch the bottom floor without hooking on! Caught several rockfish in the 3-5# class and limited out at 10 fish in such a short time it felt like cheating. The length of the hooks is perfect, not too long that you'll miss strikes.Fast forward two more weeks and I went out to sea again. After playing with swimbaits, I put the same color on and just kept catching fish after fish. I let my fellow angler use the orange color scheme and he was producing as well.Overall, I'm surprised by the effectiveness of these lures. They work best on a day without much drift where you can really work the action of the jig.

Awesome product. Very satisfied with the quality of these jigs. I bought a flat side from this same company a week ago and was blown away by the quality so I bought this flat fall. Both jigs came with top of the line mustad hooks and rings. The split rings are no joke. As an experienced fisherman the quality and strength is noticeable before even tying them on. Very impressed especially at this price point.

Purchased the 100 gram/5.3 oz Black Gold - when it arrived it should be noted that there was only a single assist hook attached to the ring closest to the eye of the jig - this is not so unusual but is not what is described in the product or the pictures or even in the answered questions regarding the lure.Overall quality of paint and finish held up well through fishing and quality otherwise seems ok.Seller should address this issue or change description/answered questions as it is misleading.Attached photo at request of the seller. This is unboxing with single assist hook attached to ring near eye.

The jig sent to me only has one assist hook that attaches to the eye side of the jig. The picture clearly show a double assist hook flat fall jig and not what I received.
