The box actually says "STERILE Unless package is damaged or open" This should settle the controversy!

Very useful for applying medication or removing makeup even though not a sterile product.

Sterile cotton balls. they’re made by Curad so I can only assume they’re high-quality, everything else I’ve ever used by Curad is really good.

This product is not sterile and is also made of latex. If you need a sterile product, find another vendor.

The cotton balls are fine but they are advertised as "sterile" when this is not noted anywhere on the packaging. In most cases this would not matter, but with some medical problems it might.

It worked exactly as expected. They are nice soft kept dry in box and bag.

Not convinced these are sterile at all. Box was damaged and open, inner bag is just taped shut. Will not be using these.

the cotton balls are way too small

Box was torn and inner bag had clearly been opened, tape had very obviously been pulled off the inner bag, meaning item was not sterile as had been advertised. Looked like it might have been a returned item being resold. Cannot take the risk that it is not sterile.
