We have kids and a dog, and it does great!!
I’ve had this for about 3 months, I have multiple little kids under the age of 8 and a golden retriever, and our backyard is dirt. We just install new tile but it is dark and shows EVERYTHING, and finding the time to keep it clean was beginning to feel like a never ending chore/nightmare. This thing is worth it and it works! I do have some tips for those who said it leaves streaking, so check that out below. I would have maybe given it 4.5 stars because I feel the cleaning solution could be a little stronger, but it is still so effective I don’t think it’s worth subtracting stars from the review. And my tips help that out a lot: 1. Use more soap (I found using 2-3 times the recommended amount works for us and leaves less streaking and residue. They don’t recommend using much so it doesn’t affect how quickly the bottle goes. And fortunately the refill bottle is 5x bigger than the small one that comes with the vacuum so it’s still price effective). 2. Replace the roller. Because we have such heavy duty cleaning that needs to be done, i plan to replace the roller at least every other month, although maybe I should replace it once a month I am just being cheap. Ordering replacement rollers is easy though! 3. Go over the same spot more than once. It’s like a regular mop, you can’t pass over things once and expect it to get perfectly clean. But 2-3 passes is usually sufficient. 4. Put it on the charging dock for self cleaning between rooms. Again, like a regular mop that needs rinsing every few feet, except this doesn’t need as much as that. But between cleaning rooms I’ll have it self clean, if the floors are especially dirty. And that seems to make a huge difference. 5. Occasionally when I want a deep clean, I “pre spray” the tile with Odoban tile cleaner (the blue packaged one) in an industrial spray bottle and then go over that with the Dreame. I know it says to never use another type of cleaner so this is my compromise if I want a super deep clean after I haven’t cleaned in several days. It seems to be fine, I have only done that twice though. And I have to empty the dirty water more often during the cleaning but otherwise doesn’t seem to affect the machine if I do it that way. Some other notes: battery is great. We have a 2050sqft home and even on days when I am mop vaccing everything it’s only ever gotten down to 40% so the battery lasts a great long time! If you forget to empty the dirty water tank it will start to smell. But it’s easy to empty and clean. I usually have it run the self clean cycle twice once I am completely done (again because we have so much dirt it needs to clean). It will still occasionally leave a streak, even after I have done all of this. But I think I only notice it because our tile is so dark. If it wasn’t for that I would not see it, and it leaves no residue, floors so clean and nice afterwards. Because I can use it every day, I don’t mind an occasional streak for having otherwise spotless floors! It’s worth the money in my opinion, I’m curious to see how long the life of the machine actually is with all the hard work it has to do at our house. But if it only lasted a year I would still consider it worth it for our personal sanity and home hygiene!

Roborock is the nightmare and Dreame is truly the dream!
Dangerous Defect & Nightmare Why I Dumped Roborock for the Dreame Rating: ⭐ (1/5) for Roborock | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) for Dreame I have over $2,000 invested in Roborock products, so I am not a casual user. I wanted to love the Roborock Flexi Pro, but after two failed units and an absolutely appalling customer service experience, I have officially switched brands to the Dreame (specifically the H-Series)—and I couldn’t be happier. Here is why you should avoid the Roborock Flexi Pro and go with the Dreame instead. The Roborock Nightmare (The "Bad" One) This product is currently "Unavailable" on Amazon, and frankly, it should stay that way. • Dangerous Manufacturer Defect: I went through two units. The first broke within 30 days. The second one, however, suffered a catastrophic failure after the 30-day window. The drive wheel engaged on its own and began spinning rapidly and uncontrollably. It literally ripped itself apart, splattering water everywhere, and would not turn off. It was a genuine safety hazard. • Non-Existent Customer Support: For a "premium" tech company, their support is stuck in the dark ages. • Email Only: You cannot call them. You are forced to email and wait 3–5 days for a single reply. • Lost Returns: When I finally got them to agree to a return for the dangerous unit, they sent a shipping label that had no scanning receipt. The package was "lost" in the mail (no scan updates), and Roborock’s response was essentially, "Oh well, we don't see a scan." • The Result: I was left with a broken, dangerous machine and zero accountability from the company. The Solution: The Dreame (The "Happy" One) After that ordeal, I cut my losses and switched to the Dreame. It is everything the Roborock tried to be but failed. • Superior Build Quality: Immediately out of the box, the Dreame feels more substantial. It offers the same 180° lie-flat technology to get under furniture, but without the mechanical failures. • Better Cleaning Technology: The hot water cleaning on the Dreame actually scrubs floors effectively, and the self-cleaning base station (which uses hot water and hot air drying) prevents the mildew smells I struggled with on other devices. • Reliability: It just works. The wheels don't spin out of control, the interface is snappy, and the cleaning performance is consistent. A Note to Dreame (and Roborock): To Dreame: I am so impressed with this unit that I am looking to fully convert my smart home ecosystem. I currently still have two other Roborock units in my home that I am eager to replace. If you are willing to help me replace those remaining Roborock models, I would be more than happy to do a full unboxing and detailed comparison review to show exactly why your products are the superior choice. Money should go to companies that not only stand behind their products but their customers also. Roborock has proven they do neither. Dreame has won my business.

a good sucker
I do loves this vac/mop. it is very handy, but if you don't pre sweep or pre vacuum and clean it after every single use it can get clogged up-that's my reason for deducting one star. my least favorite part is cleaning it, I think they make it look easier than it is in the tiktoks, but it's not really difficult to clean, it's more gross and hair can get wrapped around the roller brush which is why I do recommend first sweeping or vacuuming. I was kinda hoping I wouldn't have to do that, but it Is what it is... there is no one silver bullet for life, so don't expect this to be either. the sucking power is very good, it tries to get cords and stuff that I'm not trying to pick up; which I do appreciate the suction -it does a very good job with that and the moping does well, too. my 10 yo can use it without any issues, that's one of her chores, I would recommend getting it on a Black Friday deal, I'm not sure what my husband got it for since it was a gift. There are three suction options one normal, two ultra, and three suction only -I believe that is just for liquids only. it is easy to put together, you do have to buy replacement filters and roller brush, but it does self cleaning so that does help the purchase to be not as frequent. it's speedy, value is there if you get a sale, and it is not too bulky, I just get some lysol wipes and clean around the roller. you do get an extra filter. I did have an issue when I first got it, my self cleaning was not working, I couldn't get a full refund on it if I sent it back, my options were a possible partial refund, or a replacement so I went for a replacement, I have not had any issues with the replacement. it is so handy. I do have stairs, but I don't use it on them, another reason why I will get a regular stick vacuum, just trying to decide which I need. so this is a great vac mop, I know there are a lot to choose from right now; if you find one at a decent price (250 or less) I think it would be worth it, I don't think it would be with the $500 price tag.

Easy to Use , Easy to Clean
This wet vac is very easy to push and pull, because it has power assisted wheels for forward and reverse movements. The handle on this particular vacuum cleaner can go completely under my bed and get all those dust balls, because the handle can lay flat. When you lay the handle all the way down, there is a roller on the back of the handle to help it glide under the furniture. The vacuum suction is powerful and picks everything up on just one pass. The cleaning solution is poured into a compartment seperate from the clean water tank, so (unlike my old wet vac) you don't have to add cleaning solution to the clean water tank every time you fill it up. The amount of water and cleaning solution that gets dispensed, is determined based on the type of floor or area rug, and how dirty it is. As a result, you never have too much water dispensed on the roller, the floor is never too too wet, and the return pass vacuums the floor almost completely dry. The device talks to you and lets you know when to empty water, and when to add clean water, and when to place the device on the base to recharge it. Thanks to self cleaning, I don't have to put on gloves any more and hand wash the roller. Self cleaning only takes a few minutes to complete. Drying takes a little less than an hour, and the roller is completely & totally dry. I can clean half (sometimes a little more than half) of my 1600 sq ft house on one charge. I look forward to cleaning my floors because this wet dry vac is easy to use, and it leaves my wood-look vinyl floors so clean it shines.

Blown away-By far the best I’ve ever owned!
I’ve owned several floor cleaners from other well-known brands, and honestly, I had never even heard of Dreame before purchasing the H14. I took a chance — and wow, I am so glad I did. This thing is an absolute Cadillac. It’s buttery smooth, self-propelling, and SO easy to use. The weight is perfect — substantial enough to feel powerful, but not heavy or clunky at all. My previous cleaner was bulky and awkward, and I genuinely hated using it. This one? I actually want to clean. Performance-wise, it’s impressive: • Cleaned my two-story, 3,400 sq ft home on a single charge • Only needed three quick water changes • Glides effortlessly and feels intuitive from the first use I truly can’t say enough good things about it. If you’re on the fence or unfamiliar with the brand like I was — don’t hesitate. This is hands-down the best floor cleaner I’ve owned, and I genuinely think everyone should have one. Highly, highly recommend.

Impressive addition to my house hold cleaning solutions.
Dreame’s H14 Pro Wet Dry Vacuum is an impressive addition to my house hold cleaning solutions. I have a robot vacuum but needed something to mop the floors. I have been using a regular mop but looking for a better solution to clean my floors. So far this wet/dry vac is performing well. I like that the wet dry vac is a sleek design that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. It’s lightweight and easy to maneuver, making it ideal for cleaning various surfaces around the home. The build quality feels robust and hopefully it will last a long time with daily use. One of the features I like is its powerful suction capability, which effectively handles both wet and dry messes. Whether it's spilled liquids or fine dust, this vacuum excels at picking up debris with minimal effort. The dual functionality is particularly handy, allowing for seamless transitions between different cleaning tasks. The vacuum is equipped with a decent battery that provides ample runtime for most cleaning sessions. It typically lasts long enough to cover multiple rooms, although heavy-duty cleaning may require a recharge. The charging time is reasonable, making it convenient for regular use. The interface is easy to use and lightweight design makes it easy to operate. Its intuitive controls and smart features, such as automatic suction adjustment based on the mess, enhance the overall cleaning experience. The water tank is easy to fill and empty, which is a plus for wet cleaning. The vacuum includes a good filtration system that helps capture fine particles making it a great choice for me as I have two dogs. The washable filter is an added benefit, reducing the need for replacements. Overall, the Dreame H14 Pro Wet Dry Vacuum is a powerful, versatile cleaning tool that offers excellent performance for both wet and dry messes. Its design, efficiency, and user-friendly features make it a worthy investment for anyone looking to streamline their cleaning routine. If you’re in the market for a reliable vacuum that can handle a variety of tasks, the H14 Pro is definitely worth considering.

Love it so far
Initial use: It was just delivered yesterday so I can only give first thoughts. I will write a review a few months in. But for initial thoughts I really enjoy it. I used it last night as a test run. The thing has power. You don’t have to really push it, and it turns smoothly. It’s not difficult to learn. I used it this morning again testing it with clumps of dog hair. It’s not like a regular vacuum where it sucks it right up, but once it notices it having difficulty it automatically turns to a higher power. The only thing I wish is that I could switch the suction power myself. Maybe I can and just haven’t figured it out? I was able to clean my whole living room and kitchen on a single run without having to add more water. If you have a bigger space you might have to charge it again. Overall I’m impressed. I was able to vacuum and mop my floors in one go which is what I really wanted. It makes cleaning floors easy and convenient.
