Retinol alternative
Great retinol alternative! I love how bright my skin is with retinol, but I also hate how it also sheds my skin and gives me texture so frequently. I had done some research on Bachukiol and wanted to see if it was truly an alternative to retinol. I have been using it for months now and it truly gives me the same results as retinol without the skin pilling and texture! I add 3-4 drops to my evening moisturizer about twice a week, and that's all I need!! If I use more than that, it starts to make my skin textured, so easy does it. Please note, this is a concentrate, so you need to mix this in with your moisturizer, as it could be harsh directly applies to the skin on its own. There is a slight herb smell to it, almost similar to Thyme, but it's very slight. It is a very runny texture just like most serums, so I put the drops on my hand before my lotion. Otherwise it tends to drip off the top. This bottle is going to last me so long, so for the price its an amazing deal compared to how expensive true retinol is. 10/10

Gives my skin a soft glow
I mix this serum with my foundation and love the finish. It gives my skin a soft glow without looking shiny or heavy. The texture feels light and blends fast. It does not change the color of my makeup and makes my face look fresher and smoother. I also use it alone on no-makeup days for a healthy glow. A little goes a long way. I will keep buying this one.

Great alternative to Tretinoin
This product, after a lot of research has been amazing. Perfect amount of herb for all my DIY. I add it to my body lotions and face serums. Boost collagen production • Reduce fine lines and wrinkles • Even out skin tone and texture • Calm inflammation and acne Gentle enough for sensitive skin, bakuchiol gives a smoother, brighter complexion with consistent use. I wanted something I could use in between my Tretinoin and Vit c as those can be harsh. This product hasn’t dried my face or broke me out. It’s helped my complexion and texture so far!

Only 3% Bakushiol
Only 3% Bakuchiol, rest is butylene glycol. This should have been state prominently in description. Since it's only 3% active ingredient, I wonder why we are told to use only 2-3 drops "to dilute the concentration to 5%." This makes no sense. I'll have to find out what concentrations were used in studies. Disappointed. Smell is very light, herbal and pleasant. I am very choosy about smells. There are very few I like, and strong ones make me feel like I can't breathe. So this gets a star for smell. Seller send me the following information : To clarify the concentration: 30,000 ppm = 3% Bakuchiol in the concentrate. Because this is a high-strength mix-in, it’s meant to be blended with your base cream or lotion before use. How to mix (practical guide): Daily use: add 2–3 drops of the concentrate to about a dime-sized amount (~0.5 g) of your cream in your palm, then apply. This typically yields an effective Bakuchiol level around ~0.3–1%, which is the range commonly used in ready-to-use products. About Butylene Glycol: It is not a preservative. It functions primarily as a humectant (helps retain moisture), solvent/carrier (helps dissolve and deliver actives), and texture/spreadability enhancer to keep the formula uniform and comfortable on skin. Ours is 100% plant-derived from sugarcane. If this clarification addressed your concerns, you’re welcome—purely at your discretion—to update your review to reflect your current experience. There is absolutely no expectation to change it; your honest feedback is what matters most. If you’d like, I can also help tailor a mixing ratio to your specific base (cream/lotion type and texture). Just let me know." I appreciate all the effort.

High quality, great for my DIY beauty products, amazing retinol alternative.
I create my own skincare recipes using a variety of oils, waxes & specialty ingredients then I handcraft/pour the entirety of my skincare routine Ito reusable glass jars/bottles/rollerball bottles/etc (which involves multiple different things, as I skin cycle) but this product is high quality & a great natural alternative to Retinol. I have noticed a difference in my fine lines, my skin has become soft, plump & glow-y. This is perfect for my DIY recipes!

Legit product for DIY skincare
- I read up on Bakuchiol, and this product delivers 3% of the same stuff used in the medical research. (tl;dr: small studies, promising results) - Maybe it's the Butylene Glycol that I like? The stuff that makes up the other 97% in a humectant - i.e. it holds the moisture in. Apparently I really needed that. I had found and tried 99% bukuchiol product (diluted to 1%) in some recent DIY formulations ..... and something was missing. So I just went back to this product and, yes, that's much better. -In short: the Butylene Glycol is a good base for the Bakuchiol. -Tip for other DIYers: stick with their recommendation for mixing it in to your normal product with each use. This stuff doesn't stay blended with facial/base/carrier oils, i.e. camellia, jojoba. I could see it separate and had to shake it up each time.

This is some sort of sorcery in a bottle. I use it along with vitamin c serum and have applied it without fail for 3 weeks now. My skin is noticeably better for it. It's really moisturising and I use it as a base for my foundation. Fantastic product.
