Comfortable, nice boots
I've only used these for a couple of hundred road miles, but I like them. Still remains to be seen how they are when I try some off-road in the next few months.Construction is excellent and probably the nicest boots I've owned. The leather is a bit stiff, but I'm sure they'll loosen up as I put more miles on them.They appear to be well made, and are comfortable to walk around in. I wear between a 9.5 and 10 US, and the 10's fit perfectly. If I was a 10 in all my shoes, I'd probably go with the 11.Boots have great shin protection, ankles only protected by the thick leather which will be more than adequate for me.

Great Boot but Narrow Fit
These boots are tight in the toe area if your foot is wide. I wear a 9.5 Wide but a 10 Regular will usually fit. These 10 Regulars are really tight in the toe area despite what other reviewers have said. I bought a pair of boot stretchers on Amazon to widen them to fit and they are now very comfortable. Otherwise than being a little narrow, they are high quality. The leather is stiff but after a few days of wear, they are already loosening up. They have enough flex to allow normal walking without discomfort. These are similar to MX boots but lack ankle protectuon.That is why they are more comfortable especially when walking. People that tour on and off-road expect to be able to walk around comfortably in the one pair of boots they are wearing. This boot serves that mission well. The boot has lots of grip with a heavily studded sole for hiking. Now that I have mine stretched and broken in, I expect they will be all-day everyday comfortable for all my adventures.I highly recommend anyone with a wide foot buying a pair of boot stretchers. One of the best $43 I've spent in a while. You'll thank me later.

Comfortable boots!
Boots are super comfortable and can be used for walking in right away. They offer good protection but you may need a bit more if MC is your desire. I’m into dual purpose and these should meet my needs. I have not experienced the waterproofing yet but looks like resistant for sure.
