Works great. Uncomplicated.
We wanted an uncomplicated carbonation device, not the overpriced subscription one. This fit the bill, so we gave it a try. We really like it. Pros: The bottles are good sizes. 1L in size, so they fit in the fridge no problem, and 1L is enough where you don’t constantly have to refill them, but not so big that they go flat quickly. We bought two more on top of the one that came with the kit so we could have more than one drink in the fridge, or an extra chilling when the new bottle was made. The device itself is super simple, just insert the 8g carbon dioxide charge in the slot and tighten the device down on the bottle. Shake for 5 secs after the charge winds down a bit and done. You’ve got your carbonated water. Simple. We calculated out that doing it this way is about 50% the per-bottle cost for big-box store sparking water. Definitely a savings. Also, you can use that Big Name Company Soda Maker’s flavors with this device, just make sure you follow the instructions and put the flavor in *after* carbonating. No need to make a sticky mess and mess up the carbonator. Cons: Obvious negative is the waste of the CO2 chargers. Even if they are recyclable metal, it’s still something to consider balanced against not throwing more common plastic water or soda bottles out that might or might not actually get recycled. And you need to keep ordering them. The mitigating factor to ordering them is they’re widely available from various sources, not proprietary, and inexpensive. Another con is that the carbonation device leaks a bit when shaking it per instructions. I’m not sure if it’s a pressure relief feature or not, but the device still works fine. A small, small amount of water will leak out when shaking it, so do so over a sink or somewhere it won’t be a problem. A second reason to make sure you don’t add any syrups or anything to the water before removing tbe carbonator and using the normal cap so you don’t make a sticky mess. Last con - this takes some small wrist strength to tighten down. If you have issues twisting lids or the like, this might be a problem. For flavoring, if you want soda, the Sodastream flavors work great, just adjust the concentration for 1L. We’ve used several. If you want mineral water we are using “Hi-Lyte Low Sodium Electrolyte Supplement for Immune Support, Fasting and Rapid Hydration” here on amazon, was a pretty random pick, but it definitely makes the water taste like mineral water. Give that a try.

Worth the purchase!
I really enjoy using this bottle. It's easy to use, easy to store and it has just the right carbonation. I will caution, it took me two times to get the feel for how to do this. Once I had it, smooth sailing. Tastes great. Easy to clean, great value compared to other options I researched, quality product with replacement bottles every 2 years for health reasons.

Is worth the money for the portability feature...
The good thing is portability, but the carbonation is not close to soda stream system, that uses cannisters, where one can control how many shots,of CO2 you can drop in the bottle The small CO2 (8 grams),capsule is too small to be effective enough, but being portable is good enough for me. On the other hand, the itemr, indeed , is not refundable (do to CO2 transport requirments) ,but the seller or manufacturer they are very nice ,and go to ,great lengths to make the customer happy.

Worked for a while
When I bought this item I was skeptical but all the reviews indicated it would be an OK item to purchase. It did work for a couple of weeks but then it didn't. I looked online to see if there was a troubleshooting guide but...nada. So I attempted to return the item but to my surprise Amazon let me know it's not eligible for return. Nice huh? So with that in mind, buyer be ware. To be fair, I have been contacted by the seller and offered a full refund and explanation as to why Amazon wouldn't allow the return. I have to appreciate the seller's efforts and honesty in this instance. They didn't have to do this. Kudos to Asfolia Portable Sparkling Water Maker. If I hadn't already bought another one I would have accepted a replacement. Maybe I just had a defective item...

Super quick and easy to Make Selzer
This is a great, easy to use product that takes seconds to make Selzer. I use all the time. Saves on space and having to return cans and of course on cheaper than buying it cans or bottles. Easy to clean due to it is just water. It holds the fizz for a couple days anyway from my experience. Have not tried more than that yet. I recommend to anyone that uses Selzer.

Excelllent
So easy to use that I figured it out with poorly translated instructions and a migraine. Portable, inexpensive, even sturdy. It's a good ratio, you can make enough for 2 people in 2 minutes. All soda machines require cartridge's so I don't even mind the co2 thingies.

I'm disappointed with this soda maker. We've got a SodaStream which we've used happily for a few years but I wanted something which would be more portable for our campervan. So far, I've made soda water twice with this machine and it only makes very lightly carbonated soda water. There aren't many bubbles and they don't last long. When you twist the top to puncture the CO2 canister, there is a very short (about 1-2 seconds) of gassing. For the rest of the recommended 30 seconds wait, there seems to be hardly anything happening -- you can hear a hiss of gas but it sounds like it is coming out of the top of the machine, rather than going into the water. Last night, I wanted a soda water to go with my vodka, but the drink was practically flat, so much so that I couldn't drink it! I wondered if I had not followed the instructions properly but I had the same experience tonight. I watched the company's official videos but none of those show the whole carbonation process; you see the CO2 begin to fizz the water then it cuts away so it's hard to know if what I'm seeing when using it is what I should be seeing. I presume that I could use two canisters of CO2 to get better carbonation, but that works out very expensive at 90p a shot for each canister — £1.80 for a litre of soda water. I'm not sure if I can return it now as I have used two of the canisters.
