Powerful fan, great airflow, works for more than just cooling yourself
I knew going in that this fan was going to be small, but I maybe wasn't quite expecting just HOW small it really is. This fan easily fits in your palm, so it will also fit nicely in a pocket, backpack, purse, etc. It's got a nice, mostly metal exterior, and is very light. For its size, it moves a whole lot of air though. The switch is stepless, so it will gradually go up and down as you move the switch up and down. The highest setting is pretty loud, as the fan is moving really fast, so this isn't something you'll want to use in a quiet setting, or someplace where some noise would be distracting or disturbing, but I've found it works really well for walks, just as a little extra air to cool off your skin when you need it. I'll also use it back at home to help speed up any sweat evaporation after being outside in these hotter months. It is a very focused stream of air, so it's really good at quickly cooling a small area when held still.Another great use for this fan is anything relating to fire. I've used it for helping my chimney charcoal starter along when grilling as well as getting a fire going in my fire pit, and it works spectacularly for that. What's something that fire needs to burn? Air! It'll love to get as much as it can, and throwing a whole bunch of air on it as quickly as possible can be a great way to get your fire going. The very focused stream of air is exactly what a fire needs to really get going. My chimney charcoal starter is already fast, but adding this cut the time down even further. So if you do a lot of grilling, or a lot of camping where you've got firepits and whatnot, this might be a nice little tool to help out.The fan charges via USB-C, which I'm always happy about. It's always nicer when you don't have to carry multiple cables around for travel/camping/etc. This is definitely a nice little fan that works for more than just its intended purpose.

Small but mighty
I did not expect to be impressed by a tiny fan like this. I have been getting ads for similar fans on social media for a while and after all the intrigue I was like hey, let's just try one and if it's stupid I'll return it. Right? For the Kica JetFan Mini let me say how unstupid it is as it sits here blowing at me for the 20th straight minute on full blast while still registering a full battery as I try to see how long it lasts because I know in my heart it isn't going to be 14 hours but /what. if. it. is? (spoiler alert, it's not, but I DO believe their claims that it could go 14 hours on the lowest setting).First of all, the lights turn off sequentially when you power it down, which, cool little touch. The fan halts as soon as you power it down, and it takes a bit before it will turn on when you lift the switch. It's infinite adjusting slider, so you can really dial in that exacting fan speed if you want but I'm a full-blast or die person, so here we are.The wind speed isn't revolutionary, but it is a good amount. It's a little more focused than you probably want, but then I discovered it fits perfectly in my Owala bottle handle like they were made for each like Forrest and Jenny. It's USB-C recharging, which brings me joy as all things should be USB-C or not be rechargeable. The body is aluminum and feels /nice/ in your hands and has nothing but curves making me want to kind of just play with it. It does make a lot noise, peaking at 92dB on a crappy free iphone app I used at the intake side of the fan. Which according to the first result of a google search for "90dB" anything over 85 for prolonged periods can result in hearing loss.Ok we're at a half hour on full blast and it just dropped to 75% battery, so I expect this to last ~2 hours on max windage.I expected it get hot as the battery is expended but it has stayed very cool this whole time, probably because it's nestled nicely into my water bottle handle of love. If you need a little portable fan to annoy people, I mean this will do that, FOR SURE. What will I use it for? I don't honestly know, it's too loud to take to a softball game and sit amongst other parents and fans, and it's too cool to not take it places to make people jealous.

Love this fan!!!
I ordered another handheld fan not long before getting this one, and this one is far superior. The other fan actually has a stronger output, but this one is better in my opinion. This fan is small and not very loud. You can adjust the level of the fan using the small slide on the front, and despite its size, it really does provide decent airflow. It even provided relief during my son's soccer game a couple of weeks ago when I was sitting in blazing Texas sun with no shade for over an hour, which is the precise reason I wanted a handheld fan. The battery seems to last forever, and the fan just feels durable.

Poweful little fan!
I have ordered from this company before and I have to say I really like their products. Nice and heavy duty (metal mostly). Love that its rechargeable. Does seem to last a bit which is very nice during hot days. And this little fan is pretty powerful!

Most powerful fan ever... In a tiny body!
It's always useful to have a little hand fan, but I can't say I've ever seen one as epic as this one! Nor would I usually consider one at this price point. But actually, in the heat recently - I'd say it's worth it, but it is a small investment.Pros:• Super compact• Surprisingly powerful• Adjustable power with a sliding toggleCons:• A bit expensiveImpressions & Design ====This little fan is seriously impressive. It’s designed to be compact, so it slips easily into a bag or even a pocket, taking up almost no space. The design is sleek and modern, similar to the look of those air blade fans. The on/off switch is a sliding toggle, which lets you adjust the speed. You can keep it on a quieter, slower setting, or ramp it up to full power - when it’s at full blast, it sounds like a mini turbine!Performance ====When I say this thing is powerful, it’s no exaggeration. It’s hard to put into words just how much air this small fan can move. My little girl loves it, especially when we’re sitting in the back of a hot car or in the conservatory. What’s also great is the grill on the back that prevents dirt or fluff from getting into the fan housing, keeping it running smoothly for longer and keeping little fingers safe from the blades inside.Do be mindful though it does mention to be careful with your hair getting close, and if hair does get in the fan the motor eats it pretty quickly and will burn it. My 3yo got a bit of hair caught in it and although it didn't hurt her, the fan made an awful noise and started to smell. Once being cleared it was fine again.Verdict ====If you’re looking for a fan that’s stylish, compact, and incredibly effective, this is great.Don’t be fooled by its size - this is by far the most powerful handheld fan I’ve ever used, and it’s been a lifesaver during this heatwave. Great item, but a bit pricey!

Pocket jet engine!
This is a really nicely engineered little fan that packs some power for its size.It arrives nicely presented in a branded window box. Inside is the fan itself, a charge cable and a set of instructions. It comes with a partial charge, so you can try it straight away. The fan is really nicely made, constructed of aluminium and plastic, It's quite solid and weighty, though compact.Given its price, I would perhaps like to have seen a carry pouch or case included, as transporting it in a pocket or bag allows dirt and dust to get in. A case/pouch would prevent that.Operating it is straightforward as there's only a single sliding switch, which turns it on and increases or decreases the fan speed.I was really surprised when I first tried this fan. I wasn't expecting it to be as powerful as it is. Even on its lowest speed, it puts out a decent cooling airflow. It's relatively quiet at the lower settings, but increasing the speed makes it noisier. It makes a pleasing whistle/hum, a bit like a mini jet engine!Battery life is pretty good given it's relatively small size, and it doesn't take long to charge. As far as mini fans go, this is on the expensive side. It is well made and works really well, but even so, I'm not totally convinced that it's worth the money. If you like well made gadgets, or just want a really robust and effective little fan to carry around, then I'd recommend this one. If the price had been lower, this would get 5 stars from me.

Powerfull and fully adjustable airflow
This little fan is brilliant. Its very small and compact, but puts out a surprising amount of airflow. It has come in very handy during my recent hospital stay and kept me cool during the few warm days we had.The speed can be fully adjusted from a light breeze that is very quiet, to a much louder and very powerful blast of air. The low speed is great to just pop on your desk, or hold while in a waiting room etc. Its very quiet and shouldn't bother anyone. If its very hot and you want to cool down fast you can turn it up, but the higher speeds are rather loud.I love how small and light it is, which makes it ideal to carry around with you, while still providing as much if not more airflow than traditional fans.Charging is fast at around 2 hours and provides hours of use. I easily got full days use out of it, including leaving it on low on my desk for hours at a time.Overall I am very happy with this mini fan and would definitely recommend it.

Most powerful handheld fan I have ever tried
This Kica Portable Mini Handheld fan comes nicely boxed with a display window showing the device and comes with all of the instructions and charge cable to use. I think a carry pouch would have been nice to have with this just to keep it clean and to stop it getting damaged but not a major problem. The design of this is really compact and a good size to hold for travelling etc. it seems to be of very good quality with a weighted feel whilst being smooth, powerful and modern looking. The switch is a slider which can change the speed of the fan to your preference and this is honestly the most powerful I have ever used being as compact as it is, I did think this was very expensive although after trying this I can now see why and this one is definitely a top quality item.I have got this to be used next year when travelling to Australia and New Zealand and with the long flights I'm sure I will get some good use out of this. It is currently priced at £49 with a 40% off voucher which makes this a good price at the moment and one which I would be happy to pay for this quality so overall I would recommend and think you will be glad you bought it especially with and hot weather or travelling.

A premium fan
This is a very powerful little fan that's well made, and super compact with a really refined design. The fan power to noise ratio is very good and while it does get vocal at full speed, it's nicely balance and very effective. The size a huge bonus too, this is the type of fan you carry everywhere because it's tiny and not a burden to lug around. For context the blue fan in the pictures is generally around £20. It's bigger, not as powerful nor as refined as this Kica. It's still a good fan and for £20 it's great value so much so that you can't really go wrong with it. Now if you have a bit extra to spend, i think this Kica fan can justify its price. It's certainly not twice as good as the cheaper fan, but there is enough better about it to make the leap in my book.No question this is pricey and you absolutely don't need to speed this much to get a good fan. This is a great fan though and that's the difference.
