I was really leery about buying this ice maker, but a friend had one and liked it, so I bought it. Now that I've had it for over a month and have used it many times, I LOVE IT !!!. The ice is made pretty quickly, 9 pieces at a time. Then 7 minutes later, another 9. I really like the shape and texture of the ice. It is rounded with a hole partway through the middle. I'm an ice chewer, and I have broken teeth on the rock-hard cubes I made with ice trays in my freezer. These rounded cubes (oxymoron) are less dense and seem to almost be oxygenated and are easily chewable. Sure, they might not last quite as long as a big hard ice cube, but they are a pleasure to have in a glass of cold iced tea or bourbon and 7-Up.I usually only write reviews when I am unhappy with a product. I like this ice maker so much that I am now writing a positive review ... for a change. I highly recommend this ice maker.

Positives: quiet, efficient, simple to use, makes great ice in a timely manner.Negs: because the ice maker is NOT a cooler, new ice falls onto melting ice, causing the ice to be wet. When damp/wet ice is put into the freezer it clumps together (you'll need an ice pick).This device works best, and is designed for, making ice for 'immediate use.'Nevertheless, I love it and make ice every 2 days.(*I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say that the stand also came from Amazon & was cheap, is sturdy, and required no tools.)

This works well...it is quick, it makes ice cubes that we think are “chewably” soft, and it has the self-cleaning mode. Our only complaint is that on occasion it will shut itself off (all the ice cubes are melted, there is water to make more, it simply stopped making them)...it doesn’t happen often, and it is quick to make more when we turn it on—that 1 flaw keeps me from giving it the 5th star.

I bought this just before the 4th of July holiday and followed all instructions prior to plugging the unit in and turning it on. Unit worked fine for a day but the following day failed to start back up when turned on. I tried for a couple more days before sending an e-mail to the seller via Amazon. Seller was quickly back in contact with me and inside of a week I had a replacement unit. Customer service and response time are greatly appreciated and the new unit is functioning well as of now.

This ran fine for a couple of months then started having weird symptoms I couldn’t figure out. So I would just do a total reset and unplug it then back in and it continued working as normal….until …it didn’t and have to keep resetting it now. Have another brand much smaller in my camper and it runs fine, had it longer and it makes a lot more ice before shutting off from sensor full. The smaller one’s ice doesn’t melt very fast unlike this big one. It’s ice melts as soon as it lands in basket. VERY POORLY MADE MACHINE

Awesome ice machine. It doesn't work at all, it's very quiet. The ice made is exquisite and beautiful. More special is the automatic cleaning function, but you don't have to worry about cleaning the machine, it is really good. The screen on the left also indicates whether enough ice has been made and will automatically stop working when it is full. There aren't too many cumbersome operations, and it's very simple to have only three options to clean, the size of the ice cube and the three options to get started. The production process is not too long for the session, enough for the family to use.

This makes perfect ice for me I put some in the freezer to make harder depending what I’m using it for. I’ve have one for almost 3 years I clean it like deep clean it every 6 months with a tooth brush using vinegar and it works perfect would definitely recommend

This product was easy to use. It worked great for a couple of weeks, then stopped freezing. Customer service was amazing from the seller though! Only reason for the 3 stars is because it is unusable.
