I've not smelled the original, but love fig and so had to try. Well, it is gorgeous and exactly the kind of scent I was looking for. It's fresh, green, lush and delicious - ideal for the summer. A big hit for The Perfume People. I will be buying a large bottle next from the website.

Only use a little as it is so strong and lasts for a long time

I seldom write reviews however I am so impressed with this perfume that I felt I had to tell anyone considering buying it just how good it is. I love fig perfumes but only occasionally find ones I like. This one smells very similar to a very expensive one by ‘l’Artisan Parfumeur which I have only treated myself to once or twice. I put it near where my clothes will brush against it and it lasts all day and my clothes still smell of it the next day. It is not sweet which suits me and I just love it. I have just ordered two more from the range.

I have always loved this one's namesake, but have never taken the plunge and bought it, as much I love it on other people, for me it just doesn't work and gives me a horrendous headache. This little gem however is awesome, no headache, just a lovely fresh, green figgy delight that is neither too sweet or too green, I actually prefer it too and lasts pretty well, bargain!

I'm absolutely in love with this fragrance, and checking out the full retail prices I can not exactly understand how is it 88% cheaper. It starts as crushed green leafs on a mid summer day, relaxes into a warm milky fig scent and turns into a soft sweet fresh wood shaving. Just perfect for me, when most of the female fragrances are just too sweet on my skin.

Extremely good substitute for the real thing. Fragrance doesn't last too long but what can you expect for a fiver! Great to carry in bag, so can easily be refreshed as and when needed.
