Amazon Essentials Women's Oversized Plush Button-Front Coat

I normally wear a medium. Decided on a small after reading product reviews. I'm 5'5" 150lbs. The coat fits perfectly on the shoulder. Arm length is perfect (hits a bit below the wrists). Plenty of room around torso. Fabric has only 5% wool, the rest is acrylic/polyester blend. Since synthetic fibres don't breath, it's guaranteed to keep you warm. Made well, soft, doesn't look cheap. I ordered navy. Color is deep and saturated (I took a photo of it, but decided not to include it in the review, because it doesn't do the coat justice). Simple yet classic style. Well worth the price.

This is a beautiful coat that is of substantial quality. It looks much more expensive than its cost. Fits a bit big, after all it is “oversized.” I am 5’7” and weigh 125 lbs. I had to return the medium for a small. Return process was easy and the small was delivered in no time. The yellow is stunning and the fit is perfect. You won’t regret buying this coat, it is definitely a keeper.

I am 5’4” 142 lbs athletic with broad shoulders. I always buy coats that are too tight in the shoulders if I wear anything other than a blouse underneath and cuts off the circulation in my arms. The beautiful influencer I found the coat from (@shopdandy) is tall and slender and showed the gorgeous fit of a small, but I thought for sure I would need a medium so it wouldn’t be too tight. Wrong! This looks like a man lent me his coat. I put a chunky sweater underneath for bulk to estimate the fit as I anticipated and I just look like a linebacker in it. The sleeves are extremely long (I do have shorter arms) and everything just feels a little frumpy, like too big to give the cute oversized vibe. It is, however, very soft and looks like it would be very classy once it’s steamed/wrinkles are out.I’d like to exchange and chance it on the small but I see the small is sold out now and no telling if it will be back. Bummed! Not sure what I’ll do but likely will return for a refund if small doesn’t become available. Also got it as a Prime Day deal at $40 and not sure if Amazon will match if I return and exchange.

I wanted a longish coat in this basic style. I started by ordering a big name brand, but the fit was so weird and wrong, I returned it. So, I ordered this one for 1/3 of the price I'd paid for the fancy brand, and holy moly, I love this coat! It's a boxy fit, for sure, but I actually like that because I usually layer and have on both a shirt and bulky sweater beneath it. I also like enough room in the front so I can snuggle my chihuahua in against my chest, under the coat, when we go outside. :) If you prefer a more fitted look, you can always go down a size. I've been wearing this coat now for several weeks, through snow and single digit temperatures, and it's surprisingly warm and very comfortable. It's holding up well. I love the deep pockets, and I love the long length. For this price, you really can't go wrong! I like it enough I'm seriously considering ordering a second one in a different color.

I tried this coat in April, through Prime Wardrobe. I kept three things this time, a personal best! And among the keepers was this very classic style of winter coat. I chose a grey medium. I am somewhere between a small & a medium, so I always go for the looser of the fits. This coat has nice, classic lines. Nothing garish at all. My biggest changes were to spice it up a bit my way by replacing the grey plastic buttons with some antique, silver-colored, filagree buttons, plus i added two of my many broaches, one real silver on my left lapel, and the other silver colored one on the right lapel,but they are both vintage nineties pieces. My choices have made a stunning look with classic lines no matter how you accessorize. <giggle, giggle>

Only after a few wears, buttons have fallen off and the lining has torn. Not satisfied with my purchase.

I adore this coat, the fit is really flattering and it is very warm in a New England winter. However, the lining is complete garbage. Within a week of getting and wearing this coat the lining inside started disintegrating. I am going to take it to a tailor and get it relined because the outer is great.

This coat is heavy and feels like really good quality. It’s softer than I expected. It does itch the arms just slightly if I fold it over my bare skin to carry it but anything with wool does that to me and it’s not a big deal. The sleeves are not short on me. For size reference:Amazon suggested an XL for me but the large was on sale so I went for it. It fits! I am 5’7” and weigh 198 pounds. Average body shape (my weight is proportioned evenly, I’m not top or bottom heavy). I usually wear a L and XL shirts (I don’t like fitted tops) and size 12 or 14 jeans. The coat has the oversized look without being too big. The length is great! I do find it a little tight in the shoulders but I expected that. Overall, it’s a good fit.

This coat is a must have. Like another reviewer said “ what a bargain”. The quality is there and the beauty is there. It is perfect length and the color is right on. Can’t say enough about this coat. This is my second one. Thank you Amazon

I was pleasantly surprised by how good the quality of the fabric was. Wasn't expecting much at the price. Also very stylish and well fitting.
