Misleading description or ingredients - bland flavor
Sugar free? Apparently.Delightful? No.Candy enthusiasts? Prepare to be disappointed. The Good: * Sugar free * Probably vegetarianThe Meh: * The flavor is very bland and only barely, vaguely reminiscent of something fruity...kind ofThe Bad: * The price ($12.84/7oz at time of review) is beyond exorbitant for these * Either the description is wrong or the ingredients are wrong. All throughout the description it mentions "sweetened with stevia" but the ingredients do not mention stevia and do mention maltitol and isomalt. The Verdict:I cannot recommend these. The flavor is super weak and bland, and while they are "sweet" enough, they aren't sweet. Add that they use maltitol which has effectively the same caloric content and effect on the body as sugar, including an almost identical glycemic index...these bring nothing new to the table as opposed to sugar. Just add the sugar. These could have also really benefited by using ascorbic acid to powder them and give them a sourness. The price is outrageous, the flavors are bland, and they are going to impact your body calorically and via GI the same way as sugar, with the potential to have a laxative effect that sugar would not have.Hard pass.

So-so (Andy Anand Sugar Free Poker Fruits)
Attractive design. OK flavor, could be bolder. Nice texture. Not terribly sweet. No artificial sweeter after taste. While sugar free these are far from calorie free. While these are nicely boxed from the manufacturer, they are then inside a vacuum sealed bag that causes them to all stick together in a blob. Mostly separatable, sure, but lacking the presentation wow that was perhaps intended. The price is also outrageous for a few servings.
