This ice machine works great, is easy to clean. It is a bit loud at times.

it lasted me 6 months and started making a high squealing sound and eventually stopped making ice. it was nice when it worked… I routinely cleaned the machine and unplugged and defrosted it.

I have only been using the ice maker for a little over a week now and I love it. When the ice is first made it is kind of slushy but after it sits for about 10 minutes or so, the ice hardens up and works great in drinks. I use about 4 shovel fulls of ice in my 50 ounce insulated mug and I can honestly say that it lasts at least 24 hours. I’ve owned three other ice makers but so far this nugget ice maker is the best. In the video below you can see that the ice was somewhat slushy but like I said, after it sits for a little bit the ice hardens up and is great in drinks as you can see in the second photo of the ice in my drink.

It has been three months since I purchased this unit and I could not be more happy with it. My previous nugget ice maker was a GE Profile Opal and it finally officially died after about two years. By the time it died, I was glad to see it go. The profile has a larger ice bin, but is indescribably more difficult to keep clean and maintain. The GE Profile also has a design flaw that allows metal shavings from the auger to build up into a sludge inside a hidden reservoir tank that is not cleaned with the regular recommended (extensive) cleanings. Only three months into this unit, but I have not cleaned it as often as recommended, yet I’ve seen zero signs. When I do clean it, it’s extremely easy and quick. Great unit so far, definitely recommend. Ice bin is small, but It replenishes quickly.

Has lasted 18 months. Was dependable and awesome during that time. Is now shedding black particles, graphite seal, material into the ice and water reservoir. These seal are not serviceable by handy people like me because you simply cannot get replacement parts for this machine. The machine still works, but not for long. Although this isn't supposed to be a health hazard, I'm not going to let my family ingested it. I've properly cleaned this machine once every two weeks. This is NOT mold. It is the seals as mentioned.

Lasted a year and fan motor frozen up! Not worth the money paid. Ice melts almost immediately when a beverage is poured over it.

Purchased in May (it's October now) the machine when going through the cleaning cycle is making a grinding noise that is unnervingly loud and sounds like something is stuck. The ice making is quick, the cubes are nice and small, other than the cleaning noise that has gotten loud its pretty quiet.

110% the best icemaker out there you will not regret it. It beats the bullet icemaker the only downsizes you’re gonna constantly be putting in water non-stop because you’re gonna love the little pebbles of ice. It makes crunch crunch crunch. I’m constantly adding water to my ice maker cause I love it so much. I’m planning on buying another one.
