I found the book to be easily readable, however, the flipping back and forth between decades was a bit disconcerting. Maybe I am just getting too old and cannot follow the story line as well as I used to ??? But I did enjoy the return of the characters, with an ending.

Joyous! Great characters and story! Laughter and some tears. A real page turner. Now I have to go back and read "Patty Jane's House Of Curl", because I just fell in love with these characters again. Lorna Landvik books never let me down.

This author is all about humor and women sharing life's difficulties together. I love the way she writes about strong resilient lives shared together.

This Lorna Landvik book is good and follows in the "Patty Jane's House of Curl" tradition. The book is really a long lesson in tolerance. The book deals with eating disorders, mental illness, brain damage, divorce and remarriage, pregnancy without marriage, and a host of other social topics. It doesn't delve into anything too deeply. It is a sweet, easy, quick read if that is what you are looking for.
