Incredible value for money
It would be criminal to rate this lower than 5 stars based on the value for money alone. But there are some cons, listed last. Pros first, though. It gets loud enough to fill a large lounge. The length of the satellites' cables make it so that it can fit a large lounge too. I have noticed no distortion and have used it at up-to 80% volume. The sound is very clear, with good separation and good balancing overall. It's a bit more neutral whereas more theatrical systems will be a tab more bass heavy, but I like that as I am in an apartment building. It's got great functionality - the presets work well and I can use my phone to apply a custom preset. Bluetooth mode is handy for listening to music. eArc is mostly seamless, with only a slightly delay when starting a video. It was very easy to set up, including connecting the sub to the soundbar. The biggest win for me is the actual Dolby Atmos. Not virtual, actual Dolby Atmos support, meaning audio is relayed across separate channels, each with its own assigned speaker. The virtual surround sound (used with non-atmos content) does a good job when used above 60% volume. A few negatives: While it can definitely fill a large room with sound, the separation of the front 3 channels is not great due to the small size of the actual bar. The speakers are a bit cramped in it and you can tell unless you're dead centre facing the bar within 3 meters. Under 60% volume, the virtual surround sound is not great. It struggles to identify bass and as a result, you end up with some rattle that sounds like an intermittent bass signal. It's really bad under 40%, so much so that I didable the bass when listening at low volumes.

Good bass, solid value for money
I’ve been using the Ultimea Poseidon D80 Boom home theatre system for about a month now, and overall the experience has been good. The bass is deep and powerful, especially suitable for a medium-sized room. I still feel I haven’t used it to its full potential yet. The surround effect didn’t feel as immersive as I initially expected, but that could be because I’m currently using an optical audio cable instead of HDMI 2.1. I believe switching to HDMI may improve the surround performance, which I’m yet to try. Sound clarity and bass response are satisfying for regular movies, music, and TV use. Considering the price point and when compared to equivalent models from other brands, this system definitely offers good value for money. Overall, a worthy purchase if you’re looking for a budget-friendly home theatre with strong bass and decent performance.

Its quality is very excellent for the price.
This soundbar is very light and good quality. Let's see how durable it is. In my experience, I feel that we can't get a better soundbar at this price than paying a high price and using famous brands. In fact, its sound really impressed me. It would have been even better if it also included a tripod to fit the rear speakers.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Worth Every Dirham – Outperforms My Expensive Systems!
Shocked!!!! This 700 AED system embarrasses my premium gear. I’ve been using the ULTIMEA Poseidon D80 Boom for 3 months now, and honestly? I’m shocked. I already own a Samsung HW-Q600C and a massive 1100W Zebronics Juke BAR 10000. On paper, those should win. But in reality? This 7.1 system blows them both out of the water. The "Secret Weapon": How a Tiny Subwoofer Beats a Big One You might look at the spec sheet and think, this Ultimea is only 6.5-inch. Here is the engineering secret most people miss: It’s not about size; it’s about movement. A standard 8-inch or even 10-inch budget sub vibrates a few millimeters. The driver in this D80 Boom is built with "High Excursion" technology—meaning it pumps back and forth a massive 16mm. It works like a car engine piston: A small piston moving a long distance pushes just as much air as a big piston moving a short distance. The "Feeling" Test (35Hz): Most soundbars' subwoofers (even expensive ones) play it safe and cut off the bass at 45Hz. They give you the sound of bass, but filter out the weight to protect the speaker. The D80 Boom digs down to 35Hz, and this is where the magic happens: • The T-Rex Roar: On normal bars, you hear the growl. On this, you feel the heavy vibration in your chest. • The Car Door Slam: Instead of a plastic "click," you get that heavy, solid "thump" that shakes the floor. • The Thunder: It doesn't just sound loud; it creates that scary, atmospheric pressure drop in the room. It is physically reproducing cinematic rumble that my other gear just filters out. The Best Parts: • 4K Passthrough: I run a Fire TV Stick 4K Max and a Mini PC for gaming through this. The 4K passthrough at 60Hz is flawless. Zero lag, zero handshake issues. If you game, the low latency is a lifesaver. • The "Clever" Setup: The rear speakers connect to the subwoofer (which is wireless), not the main soundbar. This is a genius design. I put the sub near the back of the room (about 5-6m from the TV), which saved me from running ugly cables across the floor. • DIY Hack: I didn’t even drill holes. I used 10 AED adhesive wall hooks for the surround speakers. They hold perfectly, and the included cable lengths (3m for front, 6m for rear) gave me plenty of slack. • Connectivity Options: 1. HDMI eARC: For the highest quality audio 2. HDMI IN: Connect external devices like gaming consoles or Fire Stick 3. Optical: For TVs without HDMI ARC 4. AUX: 3.5mm to RCA cable for connecting devices with an analog audio output. 5. USB: For playing audio files directly from a USB drive. The App & Controls: The "BassMX" feature lets you tweak the rumble perfectly. Verdict: Don’t let the brand name fool you. The "Boom" isn't just a marketing sticker; it's a subwoofer engineering flex that destroys the competition. To truly understand the value, look at the industry kings: The Samsung HW-Q990D and JBL Bar 1300 command a massive premium, costing 3,500–4,500 AED just to give you that deep, earth-shaking subwoofer bass (30Hz–33Hz). The Ultimea D80 Boom enters this elite territory for just 700 AED, hitting a verifiable 35Hz. Here is the simple analysis: You are paying 4,000 AED extra with the big brands just to gain a tiny difference in rumble. This system delivers 90% of that massive flagship subwoofer bass for only 20% of the price. You are effectively getting flagship-tier engineering for the cost of a weekend grocery trip. It isn't just knocking on the door of the giants; it’s kicking it down. If you want theater sound without the "premium" price tag, get this boy. Just check for bank offers before you checkout!

Good value for money. Impressive sound for the price.
Good value for money. Don’t get it wrong though you are not getting true surround sound with lossless codecs, but overall for the price the sound quality is pretty impressive. By default my Samsung tv used only ARC whic doesn’t allow advance codecs, but once I enabled eARC everything worked as expected. Also the tv had a 100 ms latency enabled for whatever the reason, so check your tv settings first once set up correctly it’s a pretty nice piece to have. It switches on/off automatically with your tv, supports CEC so it’s controlled by your tv remote and already enhances dialog out of the box, although you can tweak some other settings it’s not really required.
