It finds the acupuncture points and early results are positive
I bought this to replace a previous much more expensive machine that after many years has failed. This pen was a quarter the price so I wondered what it would be like. It is well presented in a nice container with a selection of tips to suit most purposes. I favour the finest tip as it is more accurate when locating the acupuncture points. As I have been using a similar device for many years for tennis elbow and hip problems I know pretty well where the point I need are. So I was interested to see if this pen would locate them. After playing with the sensitivity setting it located the points with the audio signal. I did not find the LED display particularly useful as it is often difficult to see when in use and there is no information in the manual about what the numbers mean apart from the fact that the bigger the number the closer to a low resistance point. The pen is a bit bulky but perfectly usable. The included slip of paper showing acupuncture points is difficult to read ( so small) and I am doubtful about the guidance given on it. I would advise anyone who is not familiar with acupuncture to purchase a separate book of which there are many to guide the user.Overall a good pen for the price

Overall in happy with this item for the price, you get what you pay for
The actual plastic case is not in allignment and the ink came off in my hand the first time I used it. And the little green light stopped working. Overall not very good quality at all. So I'm going to upgrade

Be careful if you have arthritis in your hands as you may not be able to operate the unit properly
Less than 5stars due to rather poor detail on instructions for use. Adequate but could be much more explicit especially for older people. Otherwise the unit seems sturdy & appears to operate ok but could probably be even more effective if instructions were better. Wife has arthritic hands & finds the unit difficult to hold as described.

I believe Acupuncture works
I have had for a couple of weeks, yes I find it rather unwieldy, and the instruction book to me is not very helpful, I find the instructions beside the pen on this site more useful and have printed those off. BUT IT WORKS my partner has used and said the same PLUS am about to order one for my son's birthday present.

Good pain relief and meridian points stimulation, as long as you know where they are
I was using another acupuncture pen. While it was effective, the built quality was not the best. I got shocked just by holding the device and it was very uncomfortable. And then the battery door would not open so I could not change batteries, so byebye.I decided to give this one a try despite the fact that it looks a lot more complicated and bulkier than what I had. But it proves to be a lot more sophisticated and performs much better.Tips:- Watch the operation video. Understand that the hand holding the device needs to touch the two metal plates, and the other hand needs to hold the conductive bar so it will function. Otherwise the current will not go through- Use gel. Conductive gel will do, but Aloe Vera gel is a lot cheaper and is just effective, with added moisturizing benefit- Go slow and low at first. Don't be greedy and give yourself an electrical shock- Google and search for Pressure Points or Meridian Points map. That will help you locate them easier and fasterThe device is big and might be challenging for smaller hands. Just practice and find the correct and comfortable holding position. I like that it comes with a beauty probe for face. The pain relief effect is quite noticeable (usually after a 10 minutes session the pain is almost gone for me), the beauty effect on the other hand will take a longer time with regular use to notice.I also like that it is chargeable with micro USB cable. I charged it with my phone cable and it works.Overall I like this device. If you have pain and are familiar with TENS devices and sensations, you should give this a try.

Super produit
