What is the difference between HD images and High Resolution images?

EDGE cameras send HD photos for quick, detailed viewing in the app. When you request a High-Resolution image, the camera uploads the full-quality version with maximum detail.

How can I extend my camera's battery life?

Using 16 AA batteries, change the upload frequency to 3 or 6 hours. We recommend using non-generic brand batteries or upgrading to the Moultrie Power Mag Lithium-ion rechargeable or a Moultrie Solar Power Pack.

Why do I get a lot of photos without anything in them?

Environmental factors such as wind, moving trees including the one the camera is on can trigger the motion detection and cause this. Pro versions with Moultrie AI can eliminate this before they upload. You can also adjust the sensitivity in the app.

I have poor signal in my area. Will this camera work?

EDGE Series cameras will automatically search for and connect to the strongest signal they can find. However, it may not be the same carrier as your phone. Note that there will be areas in the USA with no signal, and no camera will work.
