Sounds nice but did not receive speaker covers not a big deal but i was told to contact jbl as the seller could not send missing covers

Some hardware not present-Amazon had to send some out separately-the speakers work fine

An incredible addition to my Home theater entertainment system. The audio these height speakers deliver is clear, detailed and voluminous. They will have no issue satisfying the demands of Dolby Atmos or any other surround sound application with in a home environment. They are solid and well made with a faux dark cocoa wood exterior which more than satisfy most people's aesthetic tastes. I'm happy with this purchase.

A well crafted speaker with switchable crossover for various speaker configurations. Manually set up with your AVR to maximize Atmos effects, especially if mounting on top of front towers. Overall a great speaker! Update: Purchased the Klipsch R-41SA for rear height modules but prefer the sound from the JBL Stage 2 240H speakers. Buy the JBL's! Update June 2026: Purchased another pair of the JBL Stage 2 240H speakers to replace the Klipsch R-41SA speakers. Better power handling and better sound. Caught them on sale to make it an even better deal!

​The JBL Stage 2 240H are solid little speakers if you have realistic expectations. The build quality is great, and the highs are very clear thanks to the HDI waveguide. They work perfectly as surround speakers or for a small desktop setup. ​However, don't expect much "thump" from the 4.5-inch woofers. They sound a bit thin on their own and definitely require a subwoofer to feel complete. They are also 6\text{ Ohms}, so make sure your amp can handle them properly. Good for a budget home theater, but just "okay" for a primary music setup. ​Pros: ​▪︎Compact and looks premium. ​▪︎Great clarity in the high end. ​Cons: ​▪︎Lacks bass. ​▪︎Needs a decent amp to really wake them up.

Great additional speakers for the price, which can be used for rear surround, height speakers, or Dolby Atmos effect (these can be connected directly to the main speakers granted they are Dolby Atmos speakers with the additional speaker connection meant for that purpose. Only downfall - the listing says black, but they are not - they are brown and only the face of the speaker is black. Not the end of the world for me, but Amazon needs to update their listing as it is deceiving.
