Blessed with Energy: The Mystery of Energy Medicine explained through Science and Scripture

I have been struggling with various health issues over the past years and the fact that I couldn't sleep did not help at all. I was concerned about getting addicted to pills to help me sleep but I did not have any other choice at the time. Then I was diagnosed with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. The GI told me "We don't know what causes it and there's now way to cure it" - very encouraging and helpful right?I've had enough of feeling bad all the time so I went to see a holistic doctor (who is also an Internal medicine doctor so she combines both modern western medicine and natural methods). A lot of blood work was done over 9 months while I was taking a LOT of natural supplements. Not only is my liver back to normal now, but I'm also completely off of anti acids and I feel much better.The only major problem still left was that I still wasn't sleeping and apparently my neurotransmitters were completely depleted and my adrenal glands not working at all. I was also going through very emotional family issues at the time which of course did not help. My holistic doctor then referred me to Marcy Meyers. I did not know a thing about energy healing and if I didn't trust my doctor so much I probably would have been very sceptic to go see Marcy. I have an open mind though and I really needed help so I went for a consultation.I did not know what to expect so I did some research online but Marcy but me at ease immediately. I am a Christian and I liked the fact that she is too. I can only describe the feeling after my first session as loose, free. It felt like everything that has been tied up in knots inside of me was slowly being untied and all the emotions, fears and uncertainties released. It felt wonderful.Marcy told me about her book and I immediately bought and read it in a matter of a week. It was absolutely fascinating!! To discover that our bodies have the innate ability to heal itself was astounding. I guess I learned about it at some point, but never really considered it as an alternative. I wish I have known this years ago.Marcy combines faith and science in such a beautiful way that it is clear to see that God indeed created us to be healed using His Spirit, nature and natural, non-invasive healing methods. After only 2 sessions with Marcy I felt a lot better and on the third session she gave me a combination of methods that I can actually use at home. It has now been a week that I slept every night by doing this.It is sad that not more people are aware of this natural healing method that can help with SO many different issues. But don't take my word for it, just buy the book and see for yourself. It was a total revelation to me.

Solid biblical explanations. Truly a bridge for those of us experiencing the blessing of energy medicine but have been resistant because of our western religious beliefs. I’m so thankful for this book, it’s concise and whole. It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for to answer so many of my clients questions (and my own). I finally have one resource to share that merges Christian beliefs to our scientific evidence. Truly a blessing.

This is a very interesting read. I still have concerns about the chakras even with the explanation. There’s a lot that we still don’t know about the human body. It’s helpful to have this explain by a Christian energy practitioner.

This book gave great information and also helped settle the question regarding Bioenergetics conforming with concepts from the Bible as well as validation through Science. It also gives a good overview of what Bioenergetics is and how it works, but also tells what it is not. I also love the chapter called "Gray Areas" that gives an honest approach to questions that really can't be answered with a yes or no answer, leaving the reader to decide for themselves. This is an honest and frank approach to getting answers on something that can't be seen with the eyes but is still very valid and beneficial.
