I have used these sponges throughout my youth and adult life. Their price permits me to place, use, discard, replace a used sponge when I determine it is needed for each special purpose and that purpose only, so every sponge use is like new and serves its special purpose in the home.

I used to buy the name brand sponges but these are a lot cheaper. They are a lot stiffer, right out of the bag, but soften up over time have about the same life expectancy and scrub quotient as the name brand. So worthwile if you want to save a few bucks.

The first time I got these I was excited. The price is great and while thinner than our usual kitchen sponge they worked fine. But after the first pack they have deteriorated, they fall apart fast, not lasting a full week and getting so flat they are hard to use. I'll keep getting them for back-up sponges and doing things like cleaning the bathroom, but not for daily dish doing. Should mention we have no dishwasher, so they get heavy daily use. But all other sponges last a week.
