Cheaper, more ink than store bought, convenience, just say YES!!!
When I got my HP printer, before I even set it up, I read carefully about the instant Inc. program. It says on the registration of your printer instructions, to register your printer within seven days, Then take advantage of the instant Inc. offer. Meaning choose whther you want 50 pages up to 300 pages per month. And the cost of each amount per month. Following the registration process, it was just a few days later, I received my welcome package from HP with my instant ink cartridges. The instructions told me to use all the ink already in my printer before installing the new cartridges. It would be then, that my pages per month would begin. I initially signed up for 50 pages per month, but during tax time I found myself using quite a bit more than that. After I got close to the end of my ārolloverā pages, I received an email from HP stating just that. I was given the option to either upgrade my package (the amount of pages per month) that I wanted to pay for, or pay just $1 for every 10 pages I went over my āpackageā amount. So for my circumstances, I chose to upgrade my package, because it wouldāve been less to upgrade then pay $1 per every 10 pages. I am so happy with this program, and after doing some cost comparison, it is cheaper in the long run, to say nothing about the convenience of having it shipped to your door before you need it, and more ink in each cartridge than buying it in the store, plus the recycling envelope (postage paid) for your empty cartridges. I LOVE this program, and if youāre reading this to decide if itās something you might want to try, thereās NO contract, NO risk after the first purchase (under $10), so DO IT, I donāt think you will regret it.

HP INSTA INK
Love this concept! I was running out of color ink, and it came before I ran completely out. I didn't have to call, order, or run out to store to purchase. And the good thing about it also is that it goes by pages you print, not by ink usage. The down side is that when I purchased the printer it said I would get 4 months free, but the card only said two. I kinda have a problem with that. But overall, I love the service.

Savings anyone??!!
awesome product. you buy this $5 card and it goes towards the package you pick. you have to keep your printer on so hp can detect when you need more ink. packages are based on page count and cartridges only work while enrolled in the program. so you wait for this card to be shipped then sign up and then wait for your first cartridge shipment then after that you will receive ink before you run out. it's an amazing deal and i highly recommend!!!

Very convenient
So far this is really working well for me. I don't print much, though. It may not be the best for everyone, but I love never having to shop for ink. Always before, I'd want to print a few pages, and then see that I was out of ink, have to stop and go pick it up, etc.. Now it just automatically comes in the mail. I just love it. I have one of the lower packages... I think maybe 100 pages a month with the option to add 50 pages if need be, for a very small amount. Or, I can carry over unused sheets from the previous month.

Knowing that I will not run out of ink
It was difficult to get started by the instructions given on the prepaid card. The Tech person was very helpful. I like the fact that the ink I now have can be used until it runs out and the new ink is ready to be installed. It is very helpful to know I will not be billed until I begin using the new ink from you. Thanks

Be very careful about this when the printer is "instant ink ready"
HP Connected does not explain the way the Instant Ink works on printers that are marked "Instant Ink Ready". When you buy the printer there are ink cartridges included in the packaging. Presumably you have paid for these cartridges. If you put them in the printer they work. Here comes the "gotcha"! When you sign up for Instant Ink you are shipped a "welcome kit". You may assume that your instant Ink page count will begin when you insert the cartridges from the "Instant Ink Welcome Kit". NO, the count is retroactive to the first page you printed. So if you printed 300 or mare pages before inserting the Instant Ink cartridges you will find you have exceeded the "free trial". I assumed the "free trial" would begin when I inserted the Instant Ink cartridges. In my opinion this is a very shady practice that is beneath a company such as HP. I also found it EXTREMELY difficult to resolve this and get a refund on the prepaid card that wasn't used. I would go so far as to say I was cheated by HP. BEWARE.

Does what its supposed to. Applys to your balance
It does what its supposed to do. Takes 5 off your plan with a scratch off code. Just set up my printer and signed up for the auto ink. With that you have a preview time. In that time just pay attention to what you use and you'll be able to decide which, if any, plan will suit you. There's even a free plan if u print less than15 pages a month. Also u can always buy cartridges from Amazon if its not for you so i figure no harm in trying for freeš . Just make sure you read the fine print and you should be fine. If anything goes wrong ill update but as of now im satisfied

BE SURE YOU KNOW YOUR USAGE AND CARTRIDGE COSTS BEFORE YOU USE ONE OF THESE PLANS
Not sure what to tell you.I had this system for like 6 years and was totally ripped off as I printed only 4-6 pages a month (bank statement) and had used only 1 set of print cartridge's in those 6 years That is $329.40 for less than $100 of ink. When I last cancelled the service it was because they wanted $31 more for my December printing of a lot of pages for year end summaries and tax stuff. After much complaining they agreed to give me a one time $31 credit. Then I got a new set of cartridges So great I will cancel and at least get these cartridges out of the deal.NO once my subscription stopped so did the print cartridges. They have software so HP can turn them off.Well things are a little different now. Now I am printing a lot. Started with the 300 page month $9.99 plan but max that out in less than 3 weeks so increased it to the 500 $14.99 plan. We will see how it goes going forward as I've already got 2 sets of cartridges in a month with another one waiting for install when needed.Word to the wise.BE SURE YOU KNOW YOUR USAGE AND CARTRIDGE COSTS BEFORE YOU USE ONE OF THESE PLANS,otherwise you could lose your shirt as I did.
